PS4 Pre-Order Thread! Where are you getting yours?

Word of warning about Gamestop, went in to check on my order today in the Patrick street store in Cork, had not heard anything from them after I had upgraded to a bundle about 6 weeks ago, turns out they had no record of my original order from back in the start of April and were gonna put me in the third wave. They had deleted my original order when I ordered the bundle and did not upgrade me, after a lot of hassle I showed them the receipt I had for the original pre order and they put me back on the launch day list, some fella got bumped off to the second wave but I do not really feel sorry for him as he had taken my spot to begin with.

So if you pre ordered early and still have not heard from them after upgrading, it is more than likely the same case, meaning unless you go in you will not get your launch day bundle

Indeed, I asked her today was there a need to get in early, but she said no, if its preordered it will be held !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ehm Ill be there for opening time

Well..... I made the stupid mistake of not pre-ordering the PS4 and now im panicking! Does anybody know where I can get one online on release day or any brick and mortar store in Munster?

Argos on 6th December, reserve it on 29th Nov.
Tesco is your best bet, get there early

Just the Extra stores, if it is the same as the XB1 they will only have 15 consoles per store.

I have one pre ordered in smyths in Limerick. 20 euro deposit paid, I booked on the 6th of June so launch day console is guaranteed if you wanna take it off my hands. Send me a pm if interested.

have smyths contacted anyone about a midnight launch for the PS4?

I was contacted last week about the Xbox One but I've heard nothing about the PS4. I was told I was going to get it day 1, but wondering if the fact I have heard nothing from them means I actually am not in the first batch, or simply they haven't called anyone about it yet.

Small girl with mousy blonde hair? She also gave me confirmation but since I switched to the megabundle, I have been in every 2 weeks ro keep checking! Still gonna arrive nice and early!

Should we all hook up yo keep each others place at the top of the que??

Is there anywhere that has the PS4 + Camera + Killzone + Extra Controller bundle left for around 500 euro anywhere in Ireland(preferably Dublin or Galway)? I don't really mind if it has to come after christmas but I'd really like to get one somewhere. I only recently realised I'd be able to get it.

As I posted earlier, it seems like Smyths in Waterford have Knack bundles that no one wants, you should be able to pick one up, i would still pre order with them to make sure you get your name on one though.

Im going to contact them again though in relation to the preorder dudes, as Id imagine their will be some jostling with the rabble who havent preordered :P

There will be that's why I'm going so early, well that and the fact that I don't drive and the person giving me a lift can only drop me off at that time. I didnt talk to a blonde in there, I spoke to a chap by the name of Dominic who seemed to be in charge of the department

You will need to buy an "irish" version in argos,gamestop/hmv etc here to go on your irish psn account. I will have a little Irish flag on the top left if I remember correctly.

Has anybody been able to get some answers out of Xtra-Vision? Have my PS4 preordered months ago and they STILL refuse to disclose any information about bundles. They had a few Killzone mega bundles but immediately sold out, that's fair enough. But they haven't said anything about retail bundles. Have my money for the console ready to go, I think we should be told by now how much to expect to pay to add games or extra controllers into the deal.
Or is this normal for Xtra-Vision? I've never had the privilege before of buying any console on launch day except the PS2, but that was a long time ago and I imagine things have changed.

They better not be sold out !! I went in day one of killzone bundles being announced to upgrade to it and was told I'd get a phonecall to upgrade to it as I was high on the list and got a receipt to say bundles can't be bought or preordered. Still have that receipt. Even last week I rang and was told the same.
