Yea it was red, with an English Reg.

I'll take a pic later if it's still there.

    Sounds like one so.
There is a register of them over on alfaowner :)

This has me in stitches, I can just see this happen at a test center somewhere in the country

I've a serious horn for an alfa lately, thinking one might be a future purchase. The gt looks nice.

Do it! In black (or red) with the same wheels as my 159 ;)
Then bring it to the next meet, and you can park with the rest of us outcasts:P

In Ireland you cannot so much as beep at somebody to say hello or they'll likely blow a gasket.

I've noticed that. I still beep though. The amount of people who start playing with phones, reading papers, applying makeup etc. at traffic lights is ridiculous.

Just outside my door there's a traffic light onto a main road that's very busy. The light goes green for my road for just a few seconds. Some wagon this morning started putting her makeup on just before it turned. The wait is close to 5 minutes for it to change again.

Was behind a pair of biddies doing 30k on a 60k road, gave them a gentle beep and they gave me the finger... For about 2 solid minutes the driver was looking behind every few seconds to scowl and flip me off.
Maniacs should not be on the road.

No safe place to over take either. It was hell.

I've never driven a 2.2, check out on Alfaowners, it seems to have 'hesitation'issues without a remap.
Lovely looking car though, my favourite colour for the brera.

Every overtaking manouver in the 1.4 Octavia was an adventure that required careful planning and 20/20 vision :p

    My dad's dodgy 1.4 Megane.
I've honestly never been in anything so slow, I can rev it out in second gear and it'll only do about 75k. :(

Well, looking to the future and I won't be holding back with my next purchase. :D

Was going to have it as a weekender and have the Almera as a daily, screwed myself out of that one though!

It's alright though, I just need something that can go fast, get it's arse out and hold thing's in the boot/back seats. :)

    Alfa eh...:pac:

If you're going to do it right buy one with a v6 and rwd. I wish mine was rwd all the time!:(

Anyway this is a nice gt and it's frickin rare to see a 3.2 gt.
    http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/alfa-gt-3-2-v6-fsh-new-nct-taxed/5828607

It was rare to see a 3.2 v6 up on donedeal for ages then four pop along. I don't like the v6 gm in the brera so it's not counted. That track car is a beast by the way.

I was dropping my kids back to my ex earlier and my car started a dpf regen just as I was driving into Thurles:o it was stinking up the whole town (even worse than nomal:pac: ) you could see people walking down the street looking around to see what the smell was:D

An arsehole in a van was tailgating me earlier and when he got by, blew the horn  so having none of it, I immediately charged by him the second he pulled in (thank you 406 :D) and then proceeded to absolutely pollute the view infront of him for a few miles. Not only did he stop tailgating, the front of the van began to turn black ;) you get what you give :)

Some amount of looneys on the road this evening.... Halloween isn't till tomorrow

So I bought a Subaru Forrester S Turbo this evening. I'm going to replace the Golf with it, and the Golf just passed the NCT today :o

I guess I may aswell get used to having a guzzler everyday come January when I tax the Legend...

On my way home from college last week I was behind a focus 1.4 who was behind a slow moving car doing 50kph. Well the focus went to overtake and it literally felt like eternity we hit a slight incline and I thought he was going to have to drop back maybe there was something wrong with this car as my focus is far from quick but this was a joke. I've never actually driven one so maybe there not too bad. My astra 1.3 was extremely slow from take off specially first and second was a bit of a pain on roundabouts but once it was up and going it was not too bad at all.
