Herself was looking at the diesel lately and I was well impressed with it, didn't feel small at all. I'd imagine the 1.4 in something that light would have decent poke.

Very much, lots of low down torque, felt very planted and comfortable at motorway speeds and responded well to being revved.

Its ok, Dgt will arrive over the hill with a small tank powered by the engine from the ark royal, with the rest of the toy soldiers coughing and spluttering behind him:D

My car is in full stealth (dirty)mode at the moment, I'll help him.

I forgot to mention earlier that I was almost run over by a bus earlier, he decided as I was approaching his junction on the roundabout that it was perfectly fine for him to pull directly into my path :(

I know it was great went down hill about when we started looking at them as thermodynamic system and analysing there efficiency but I suppose what would you expect in an engineering thermodynamics modules :pac: ah no it was very interesting now. To See internal animations of the rotary engine in action was class. Pity more cars weren't fitted with them.

    What an interesting hour! :pac:

I've always wondered, why is it called a rotary engine? whats the difference, i know i can google it but i prefer a real person tell me

    Ah thermodynamics :)

What hell awaits you you can't realise :pac:

Looking at anything from a thermodynamic view just takes the interesting stuff out of it.
Other than sterling engines though, they are cool little things :)
