Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Great review mate... you should work for Wickla People or something.

Meanwhile... look here http://www.vicarstreet.com/newstastic//news.php?item=124 it would appear that they have bog munchers in Edinburgh too.

Jaysus.. there's even a lot of bog munchers in Dublin seeing as all of his shows so far have sold out.

the cheestrings ad, the food safety ads....
but the wierdest most non-sensical ad is the low low ad with the crazy girl:confused:

ah i seen the worst ad ever,

at first i thought it was a piss take but no punch line ever came.

Its one of those tv offer only ads, and was showing on some sky digital channel ( i know that doesn't narrow it down)

anyhew are ya ready for this,

BOG PUTTER or something along those lines, it was basically advertising one of those golf mats with the hole and flag and a putter and it was designed to be used next the toliet because " it helps you relax while your doing it" so as not to cause injury through forcing, ewwww.

It kept showing you people on the bog playing with it, trying to hit the ball into the hole, the mat is about 2 ft wide okay.

Not only that but if you buy now you will get a free busy sign for your door handle, at the amazing reduced price of £20 down from 40.

Going to the jax has never been so much fun etc'

Ah couldn't believe it, seen it twice now. Keep your eyes open, its so ****ed up, the last words out of the guys mouth are [buy]BUY NOWWWWWWWWW [\echo]

All of those "Doritos" ads irritate the hell out of me.

    "Friendchips"?
Those 'dawsons-creek-esque' group of friends act like complete knob-ends and rattle off lots of really sad puns.
    "Threetoes"(Doritos)? wtf?

A continuation of the last thread which reached 10,000 posts.
10,000+ posts, well done everyone. It's been fun. One of my gear grinders at the moment is the new KBC ad, two complete wallys standing at the door of their car in the driveway espousing the benefits of KBC and how it, a bank!, will change your life and all your problems will be solved. Their voices, that script, equally stomach churning and head melting.

Agree, all bank ads are stupid.

The ad for Always Pants Discreet with the woman with the fluffy hair telling the camera that nobody will know she's wearing them except her.
She irritates me for some reason.

The Fixodent ad with the woman wobbling away on a CGI pair of dentures.

The series of Renault Kadjar ads I find are very annoying. It started with the one where the dust comes into the cinema and then all the people run out through the "screen" to get to the car. WTF? I don't get it. Then there are another few featuring extreme sports, with the same annoying song, where the car is driving over terrain it would never be able to get in to or driving in a river as its being used for some sort of selfie camera nonsense. If you don't have this car you obviously cant do extreme sports or if you do then you will look like a twat unless you are in this yoke!

It reminds me of this famous ad!

The Energia ad, especially on radio. At first I thought it was President Higgins doing the voice-over.

Mentioned at the end of the old thread but that new debt help service advert with the woman "drowning in debt" seems WAY over the top and ironically, can't have been cheap to make either.

The "we're not great..............we're total heroes" ad, Hewlett Packard I think. Gimpy crap from techies who think they are rock stars.

Probably the worst of those ads, though, is the Noyeks Newmans ad on Radio Nova.

Not only does it begin "It's almost X o'clock, time to...", but it plays just before EVERY hour - and, of course, it's got THAT jingle. I won't sing it; you all know how it goes. ;)

On the Irish channels anyway, it just seems to be either that God awful ad where some prick buys an island with lottery winnings, or else teenagers being rejected by girls in McDonald's ads. I wish you could install adblockers on televisions. My mother mutes the ads every time they come on, to enjoy the silence.

It's no worse than Heineken (Cute Hoor), Guinness (Hop House 13) and Bulmers (Clonmel 1650) doing it. And at least Smithwicks are up front about who's making it.
