In other news, I never thought I would need an LSD to get up a muli-story car park. The painted footpath things are very slippy when wet

Nah, they're different car parks. Very steep in-ramp to the Ilac, have seen and heard squealing tyres on a day like this before.

I was actually talking about RoverJames! Apologies for the late post, I got to wondering about him and search brought me to the chat thread.

    .

    (without discussing moderation on thread)
We have indeed lost a few regular (and knowlegeable - if a bit biased :P) contributors recently. I think the forum has suffered for it.

This isn't the place to be discussing mod/admin actions regarding a user.

    Thanks

Already met a few pints where flood water was the width of the road. Witness also to people going through at 60-80kmh!

Out of interest, is there a place on boards where Motors regulars can discuss the effects on the community of the loss of particular members?

Feedback would probably be the closest.

I think feedback is for features. There is a dispute resolution process for people who have been banned, but I don't know that there's anywhere for posters to discuss the effect on the community of individual(s) other than themselves being banned?

    TCN tbh.

PMs I think sadly, which is a shame. Unless you are on a private forum where it can be discussed.

I've yet to find anywhere to discuss it or anyone willing to allow it openly.
