Had another fresh calver down with milk fever, decided to tackle it myself fully this time instead of getting the vet, found the vein in the milkline no problem, bottle in there, then another under the skin and finally a bottle of mag under the skin. 15mins later and she was up. Saved myself calling out the vet on an emergency Sunday rate ($$$).
