I'm embarrassed for you after that one

Pretty comprehensive win today, good to see certain forums (FF) however try to lay the attention to the smoke bombs used by a part of the Rangers support :D

Tonight see's the second round of the Ramsdens cup and Rangers take on Berwick Rangers.
No trialists ate allowed to night so the Rangers team is.

RANGERS: Gallacher; Faure, McCulloch, Cribari, Wallace; Crawford, Black, Macleod, Templeton; Shiels, Little.
SUBS: Kelly, Gasparotto, McAusland, McKay, Aird.

To be honest there is a lot if pressure on Ally to win this as his cup record has been rotten to say the least.

Can see this being a close one believe it or not. Personally I am not overly confident.

Ah well if they do him I am sure many more will follow after all we all know many players in Scotland are having a bet and the SFA would have to be seen to be even handed. Wouldn't they

Most players would be smart enough not to have an account with the bookmaker or place bets via proxy. For those that are stupid enough to have accounts, it would require bookies to volunteer information to the SFA like what happened with Black. Its not easy for the SFA to be even handed without more evidence but that shouldnt stop them making examples of the likes of Black to send out a message.

Maybe I'm naive but I'd like to think there's not many that bet on games involving their own team(if that actually proves to be the case with Black)

If it proves to be the case he should never play for Rangers again

This one should be awkward enough for both sets of supporters....

I take it you were meaning the choice if sings certain sections of both sets of supporters sing
As I say I took it in good part at the time and meant my earlier post to be x bit of a joke. Obviously I got if wrong sorry

Nope, just that both clubs supporters wouldnt be able to slag each other about their liquidations without opening a can of worms. i.e. Airdrie United getting SFA approval to become Airdrieonians this season. Thought that would be on the menu to have a go at them, no?

I just didnt understand what you meant is all, just abit confused is all :)

Rangers go two up with goals from McKay on 59 min and Little on 61 min.

Game finished 2-0 and its one closer to the end of the transfer embargo Saturdays home game agains East Fife will see the last time Rangers have to play trialists though Law and Daly can't play as they have played their full quota so we should see two players left Bell and Clark turn out. Leaving four to make their debuts in the following games

These friendly people found it a good idea to take in a game from Scotland's most successful club, can't blame them ;)

Rory: Let's wait until tonight, ok ? Crucial Champions League decider and all that, bound to be 60.000 in attendance surely;)

Lol! Just cos the glory hunters were out in force at parkhead tonight again :P

Unfortunately Ramsden's cup second round games just don't have the same appeal as getting into the champions league group stages :( then again if we had played Berwick away it would have been a trip into England, our European adventure for a year lol.

Starting to feel like Liverpool fans with their trips to Wales keeping them going.

It's Rangers v East Fife today and the last game the club has to play trialists due to the transfer embargo. No Law or Daly as they have played their quota of games so Bell (goalkeeper) and Clark (striker) replace them

RANGERS (4-4-2): Bell; McAusland, Cribari, Faure, Wallace; Crawford, Black, Macleod, Templeton; McCulloch, Clark
SUBS: Gallacher, Shiels, Gasparotto, Telfer, Murdoch, Aird, McKay

EAST FIFE (5-4-1): Andrews; Dutot, Thom, Neilson, Mbu, Johnstone; Brown, Willis, J. Stewart, Tuta; Buchanan
SUBS: Paterson, Clarke, Austin, Moosari, Barr, R. Stewart, McBride
    REF: Alan Muir

Cue another "Going against the spirit of the game" rant from the usual suspects.
