    Going a little mad here.
I have enigma2 working nicely now but how do you change the time.
I tried telnet and the date command and that seemed to work at the OS level but changed nothing on screen and the epg just froze.

Showing CET time at the moment. I am sure there is a setting somewhere but I can't find it.
    Using HDMU enigma2
    cool tv guide 5.6.2
    Autobouquets E2 for 28.2E

    Thanks

EDIT: another dumbass moment! Found after paging down the system menu that there is a second page of settings D'oh!!

Not only that but some images you need to just put the receiver in Standby for it to update the time on the box display panel.

No idea if it needed it. It is displaying the correct time now but I had to get up out of the chair to check.

Does anyone have the permanent time shift plugin working on hyperion v2? Found one version of the plugin but it doesn't seem compatible. Has anyone had any look?

Anyone else have this issue or any ideas?

While watching a he channel after a while the screen goes blurry during motion, sky sports news ticker!
If I change channel and go back again all is fine but after a while it happens again.

    TIA

Yeh it's a very big issue on Alien boxes at the minute, it's only happening on the E2 side, Spark is fine. We are still waiting on a fix for it, that's if we even get one.

It seems to be only happening on HD subscription channels so we can't discuss it too much in depth here but there are various other forums talking about it.

Is it thought to be an issue with the oscam program or an issue with some other part of the enigma2 code ?

HD judder is an issue with E2, it's not just affecting this box, some others with different hardware have reported the same judder.

No it has nothing to do with OScam

They seem to think it's a chip issue at the moment, it only appears to be happening on boxes with SH4 chips on the E2 side.

I was on TSMedia yesterday morning and decided to go into the web feeds on Veetle. Some great stuff on there (a channel devoted to The Big Bang Theory, another for Family Guy, another for American Dad).

Anyway there was an Australian TV one so I clicked on it to see what would come up. It was a live stream of Channel 7 in Australia. The evening news was on and I got a full weather report for the Queensland Region, followed by Home and Away :D

Spark is completely different so plugins are non-interchangable. You cannot even run some Enigma plugins designed for other boxes.

I've been trying to stream to laptop thru open webif.
On instructions I have set 1 port to 80 and 2nd port to 8001 but my router doesnt have the option for 8001.
Selecting different ports on virtual server but getting same error message for the ports i've selected.
    Port settings.jpg
I've tried 1080, 70, 1723. I also tried 2 ports at 80. I can stream recordings ok because it uses the port 80. The stream is excellent on this even with wifi.
There are 2 options TCP/UDF on the router. Any suggestions are welcome. The error messages are below:

    Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://192.168.1.XX:1723/1:0:19:44E:3E9:2174:EEEE0000:0:0:0:'. Check the log for details.

    Question for championc:

I'm loving the Open AR-P image, thanks a mil! Everything seems faster, HD channels are streaming better, and terrestrial also seems better. Is there any way to get the bouquet editor working in the web interface? I have a completely custom bouquet arrangement, and it's the only thing I miss from the HDMU image I had been using.

Are you using OpenWebIf or WebInterface ? You can use either (or both if you use different ports for each). Have you tried using DreamBoxEdit on your PC ?

I'm more used to WebInterface because that's what came with the HDMU image, so I've been using that.

I have DreamBoxEdit and I can use that to make changes - it was just nice and quick to use the bouquet editor and then backup with DreamBoxEdit.

you could use the custom.txt file in AutoBouquets,
I have one (mostly) set up for the free to air channels and could post it as a starting point if that would help
