Finally got a nippled 3DS and fire emblem and another copy of zelda and Pokemon white 2 and donkey kong country returns and a dunnes stores bag.

Say goodbye to life!! :D on a related note, picked up radiant dawn (seems to be going up in price so now's the time to nab it!) might give it a go during the week

Yep! I'm aware of that issue as I've been playing path of radiance a lot lately and at ungodly hours. Sure just look atnthismpost time and I'm in work in the morning!
Not liking it as much as the GameCube version so far but it takes me ages to get into a game. Have to force myself to play for a little while before its sinks it's teeth into me.
Like the big screen on the XL but still not too happy with the grip. Has anyone noticed an improvement with the claw issue Witt the XL?

As for Radiant Dawn, I don't have a Wii! Can't stand motion controls and sold my Wii ages back because of it.

It's something to play on the wii u though :) and thankfully radient dawn doesent have any silly waggle controls, just wiimote sideways like a snes controller.

Almost 100% you can use a gamecube controller for radient dawn... I remember using one for some reason. Never liked playing games like that with the wiimote and wish they had allowed the use of the gamecube controller in the metal slug collection. The control options in that all in some way force a motion control :(

Path of Radiance was unreal :D I don't think I ever recovered from Boyd dying on me with something like 4 hours left in the game.

edit: I'm an idiot, on the wiiU yeah a wiimote sideways or a classic controller would be the options I'm guessing :D

I hope you just let him die, and for shame if you did, and you haven't spoiled it for instead.

Went to a car boot this morning. Nothing of interest really. A boxed PS2 for €15 which I considered but decided not to. But in amongst the legitimate businessmen selling legitimate, quality home films I picked up these 4 games. Gitaroo man on the PSP as I quite like the PS2 version. Tekken on the PS1 as I don't own it. Driver (NTSC version) as again I don't own the first and Britneys dance beat on the PS2 because it's Britney bitch! And I've actually wanted it since it was released :o All cost €7 in total. Heading to another jumble sale/fair later today so might pick up some more.

They actually have it in the rage (as of a week or two ago anyway)! No price on it and I didn't want to ask in case they thought I was weird.

Christ on a bike, but the US Driver cover is awful!
    EU version, much better

Although the Japanese box art is even better

I can't wait, assume the message board near town hall will still be there, you can leave me a nice message like "lovely beour"

I'm in the middle of one of those "I-really-shouldn't-be-spending-a-penny-on-anything-but-food" periods but this was too good to pass up.
The games are in perfect condition, down to the little plastic bag for the cartridge inside each box.

I wouldn't put that F-Zero cart in if you're planning on doing anything for the next week; the AI is so evil, yet balanced enough that you'll just glue on to it and renounce your membership to society.

Also, don't bother learning to drift, just tap the ignition on corners. This information might save you all of 3 seconds.

And it's running the G-Net right now, a quick spot of G-Darius before it moves to it's new home!

Is Kerbdog a pro basketball player or something? The angle of the pic makes the cab look tiny. :D

He's about 6'3" or 6'4" depending if he is in heels or not....
But he is quite tall, yes....

I'll have to find a way to get it up there, could be very tricky.
Is the monitor removable in any simple way?
Might be able to fit the body of the machine up if I disassemble it, and move it bit by bit, it's about the right height to snuggle into a corner up there.

It's removable alright but I wouldn't call it simple, buttering a slice of toast is simple. :)

There's no frame around the back of the monitor so you need to discharge it (unless you fancy risking the chance it auto-discharges). Disconnect all the wires connecting it to the chassis, disconnect the neck card, open up the front part of the cab and lift it out making sure not to hit the neck off anything, lie it on it's front.

Reverse the process to get it back in. A two man job in reality (although Steve_SI managed it solo I think).

Truly he is a god amongst men....

I'll keep it in mind, I would like it installed up there, but I do like it where it is right now... decisions decisions....
As I have stated elsewhere, now I want to tidy up a few things, replace the Atomiswave logo above the CP, replace some carriage bolts, get a 2 player CP somewhere.

Oh, forgot to mention, Mitch threw in two Sanwa JLF sticks free gratis, nice one!

Do you mean where the move strip normally goes? Emphatic has some lovely artwork here that you could print out and use. I think Casey120 and/or others have done this, they'd know more about where to get them printed.

Technofreek was getting some bolts/screws for his AWSD recently and got himself a 2P CP I think. Not using mine at the minute but holding on it as they're awkward to get hold off, repro's they are ofc.

Getting bits and bobs for the cab is good fun, learn tons too.

This dinky little chap arrived this morning courtesy of horgan_p, the SLG3000. Cheers dude. Works great, got it as a backup I guess as I already have the mini-slg dongle.

Here's some snaps of it in use with my Aliens pcb + supergun + Dell monitor (and other gubbins in between).
