Scanlines make all the difference !

I first missed a Cute monitor chassis while I was the high bidder for Y 11000 due to a glitch on YHJ, the second tested one that came by I grabbed for Y 5000,- as no one but me bid on it and now the first tested one I first missed was put on sale again so I thought what the hell and put in the opening bid of Y 5000,- but no one after that put a bid on it so I won that also :pac:

    So now instead of 1 spare chassis for Y 11000 I have two for Y 10000 :P

Replace the Atomiswave logo above the CP, replace some carriage bolts, get a 2 player CP somewhere.

The logo or get a new marquee holder? I wouldn't touch the current Atomiswave cab light, but I would get myself a marquee holder (Egret ones fit I believe) and some nice repro art to fill it.

    For the control panel fixing;
    Nuts
    Bolts

I could do you a marquee holder if you like?

Franco also does the repro marquees and wiring harnesses but he isn't taking any orders at the moment.

Urban is a very good option here which oisin could can vouch for the quality if work

Thanks but no, I think She Who Must Be Obeyed would blow chunks if she spotted that atop the cab, it looks great as is but I appreciate the offer.
I got a reply from an eBay based seller who will do a 2player cp with overlay for 100, interesting but it'll have to wait a month or two, so the credit card can cool down.

The whole thing, drilled and all, says he needs the order now but wants to do it outside of eBay via email, so I'm naturally quite apprehensive.
I'll probably wait until one pops up on jamma+, ebay or adverts, something a little more affordable anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,925 ✭✭✭TechnoFreek

That's interesting. If its davide from Italy I'm sure he said to me only recently that he doesn't do the printing. Hmmmm.

I'm pretty sure he is legit though. Advertises on Italian arcade forums. Just uses eBay to advertise to a larger market.

I remember a guy from Italy on A.O. who sold control panels but only sends you the overlays so watch it !

By the way Ciderdude, I know your credit card is probably too hot to touch right now, but do keep those Neo Legend refurbished arcade stools in mind. They're absolutely perfect.

Looks like they have red and blue back in stock too!

Ah yea my marquee holder on my Naomi is by FrancoB - grand quality, bit of a pain trying to center the artwork though.

Usually an indication of Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis or the big "C", so, yeah get that checked out!
The stools would be a nice, will have a think about what is best to get next.
Only reason I want a 2 player cp is so I have two sticks and can play Robotron properly!

Not retro but this monster arrived this morning courtesy of The Book Depository, was about €30 or so. Started playing Skyrim on PC recently, pretty cool.

1100+ pages, couple of posters, includes info on the two DLCs too.

    I know.
I have them on the Famicom anyhow.
    Gradius II is fantastic.
Almost as impressive as Parodius on the little console.

I'm actually looking for some superplay tapes on Betamax, SVHS, VCD, SVCD, XVCD, XSVCD, RSVCD, MVCD, KVCD, CVD, Hi8, VHD, CED, VHD 3D (would be amazing!), Videodisc, heck even reel to reel if they exist! :)

@LeHommeduPomme: I've warmed to Gradius recently. Especially Gradius IV for some reason. Salmonhamburger though can fookin' DO ONE! :pac:

I just bought this at a "book sale" in work.

    Ps2 console with

    brothers in arms
    Gran Turismo 3
    Resident Evil 4
    Enter the Matrix
    Final Fantasy X
    Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow
    Medal of Honor Frontline
    Final Fantasy XII
    Silent Hill 4 The Room
Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty
    Splinter Cell Double Agent

all for 25 Euro. Im not up on playstation 2 collecting, was it worth it? Im guessing it might have been a decent price which is why i went for it even though i have about 5 ps2 consoles already from car boots.

Just spent not much on a copy of Panzer Dragoon for the PS2, a late release for the machine and an interesting one, with both a match of the Saturn original and a "remastered" version on the disk, sadly the latter loses a few nice details in the game, like waves on the sea, which is ironic given how pitiful the Saturn was allegedly at 3D and that the new host machine, the PS2, was designed with 3D in mind.
Still, I am looking forward to it.
I'm also on the look out for a cheap as chips Nights into Dreams, again a late conversion onto the PS2, but this time not a Sega value game range. This is the version that was upscaled for the 360 and so on recently.
There is a rather nice collectors edition too, but we'll see, comes with an art book.
Another variant has a tee but that goes for €100 plus, not worth it to me tbh

There's a five screw variant on the nes with different artwork that looks shoite but fetches a lot more cause it rare. If you can get it with free pencil parer you'd me a lucky camper.

My Wii collection continues to grow with the arrival of Excite Truck this morning.
Excite bots is a lot harder to find for some reason, at least at a reasonable price.

No pal release, very limited print run I believe.
