Two new arrivals. Super Mario World, SFC version. Also got Akumajō Dorakyura or to non-weeaboos Super Castlevania IV. I'm getting a few SFC versions of games because they work out a lot cheaper than the Western releases. Pity a lot of the very expensive games require reading :(

Hmmmm. I know what you mean. I did the same. Better value and you can end up getting some mint boxed also. Funnily enough. I'll be selling a few on adverts over the weekend. Keep your eyes peeled ;)

Having a northern housemate has it's advantages. He acts as a free Parcel Motel, but I just have to wait a few weeks before he heads home to pick the stuff up for me! Had a mini Christmas earlier when he delivered the following:

    Donkey Konga 3!
    Nice one!
Homura is pretty good too, picked it up during the year as well.

But, my fave there is Pocket Fighter, a little stunner!
Try to get the Jap release, I had it, gave it to someone in these parts I seem to remember, has a fuzzy felt type cover, picked it up originally from a little shop on the quays, near where Richer Sounds used to be, they would import games, back in the late 90's.... I was working in Gamesworld, on my day off, at the time.
    Halcyon Days indeed!

Hope to have a nice haul during the week as well, since I decided to go legit with my Wii collection things have gotten a little out of hand!

Bangaio for the Dreamcast is superb. Nice addition to your collection.

Dracula X for the SNES, or worwnefnfernre XX in japanese. Japanese price: 35 euros. PAL/Price: Remortgage the house. It's also in such good condition you'd swear it was just taken out of the box.

    It's not text-heavy I take it?

Lol, nice. The story is insignificant & by missing it you're not missing out is what I should have asked?

I've gotten to the last boss and can't remember if there was even any text. I think it's the usual castlevania story of go kill Dracula.

It's a poor mans reimagining of the superb Rondo of Blood. Not a patch on that game but decent enough. Except the last boss, cheap ****er.

Was fortunate enough to play the original not so long ago. Amazing soundtrack.

Not too shabby at all :)

Picked up Mario Kart DS for €5 today. It has the case and game (of course) but no manual, which makes it a "good" but not a "great" find.

Just got two of those arcade stools for my cut down Naomi and RGB cables for the SNES (one that doesn't do that fade thing) & GameCube.
Just need RGB cables for the Xbox1 and Dreamcast now and I'm sorted

I pulled a OwaynOTT and thought they were the actual thing for a second. In my defence, I saw the bottom photo first.

I'd counter it, but I don't think there's a packet of Tayto small enough.

Not region free though, is it?

So, just added another Treasure title to the games collection!
    Is it Radiant Silvergun?
Could it be a DC copy of Ikaruga?
    Sadly, no..
It's the McDonald's licence they made for the MD!
To give them their due, it looks pretty nice, nice animation.
And it was free courtesy of Kerbdog.

Also, I may have handled one of his fresh stools, without gloves either, parts were hard, others soft. Will have to speak to him about his diet!

    Good day today,
Thanks to Brianon got my Taito Paddle Controller, had a blast of Arkanoid and it's perfect, also have the two Space Invaders Extreme games so going to give them a lash later.
The only other game compatible is Puzzle Bobble so I'll pick that up later, assuming I've anything left after my Wii spending spree.
I've Mario Sports Mix incoming, made by Square Enix as it happens.

I also got a certain Shmup fanzine today as well, paper is a tad shiny for a nail in the jacks, not much "traction"...
But, seriously, it looks great, looking forward to reading it.
