Does anyone know if it's possible to have the logs in phone just show phone calls permanently rather than reverting to everything when you re-open it?

Looks good! Where did you get it?

PS: Is anyone else's phone heating up a lot at the back around the camera module?

    Cheers,
    M

Not extremely. The gallery always lags. Little bit of lag on the lock screen and other parts, but the library is the main lager.

All the time. Try running the phone in safe mode for a day without any apps. Just to make sure it's not some app causing the trouble

Thanks man. I am eagerly awaiting the Android Revolution HD ROM for the S4 and hoping that will fix this heating issue? Maybe there will not be one as I can't find anything about it!??

    Cheers,

    Re drama shot..
Finally got it to work, wondering if I can delete a shot from the picture after selecting and saving them all, driving me bonkers!

What's the buzz with ARHD? It's just a stock ROM. People think that Mike does something magical to the ROM for some reason.

For me just runs super super smooth and better battery. You know if he is working on one for the S4??

OMG cracked the screen of Galaxy S4

Picked one of these up during the week and absolutely love it. I was very close to getting theHTC One but just preferred the S4 after playing with both.

Anyway, one question, and it's a minor thing - my wallpaper doesn't scroll any more. Regardless of the screen I choose, it's a static image, which is different than my S2. Is this a 4.2.2 thing?

It's not a 4.2.2 thing as it happens on my Nexus 7 which is on the same firmware. Not sure why it doesn't happen on the S4... might be a screen transition thing. If you are using Nova Launcher though it does have the the background move option!

Well my phone is being sent away to be repaired or replaced......
I dunno how I will manage with a brick in the meantime...

I really would be mad to buy another S4 in the meantime to get me through the week????

Depends on the store, but your generally entitled to a replacement within the first month of the phone, if they can replicate the fault.

I had to take screenshots of all the crashing in order to get my first one replaced.

And yes you would be mad

so I had hoped that when this phone came out, I'd pick up a 32gb version. but none to be seen. for those that have it, have you found that you're running out of space for apps or is the available space enough?

Dropbox Cache is a bitch. So I don't bother with it any more. Google drive seems to do it with a lot less caching, but then I don't have much stored on that yet.
If you're a heavy gamer the space may be a problem as some apps that are initially tiny grow colossal! The phone handles them beautifully but the memory just isn't there for several HD games which sucks to say the least.

I've had no problems with memory yet but I'm not really an android gamer. (yet!)

As above. Games are the biggest culprit for me. Spotify stores songs in the msd card and all my pics and videos are there too. I'd be screwed if I didn't have they memory card

so basically if you have one or 2 high end games and/or a sat nav app, no more apps for you (unless you root and can install apps on the sd card)?

Exactly. I wouldn't go around moving them to them to memory card. They start misbehaving or just stop working.

any sign of of 32gb version coming soon?

I've barely used my phone today (busy day in work)

Its at 79% after 9 hours, that Google services is p1ssing me off though, how can that use more power than the f-ing screen

Guys i posted this a few days ago, and i just wanted to let people know that i disabled Google Now. Since then my battery is twice as good.

Google Services doesn't even appear on the Battery list anymore. So if anyone is having similar issues, try that
