My mum retrained as a nurse at 35, she graduated when I was 15. One of her friends was in her late 40s when they graduated. Fair play to anyone who goes back to college IMO.

I'm trying to figure it out now. Being in my early thirties is the perfect time for me to grow up and a do a proper job. edit: I'd be in my early thirties when I qualify if I went back to uni.

And I'm moving out on Saturday. I have plans for Friday night, and more plans for Saturday night after I move out. If the sun is shining it will be great!

Oh! The health centre will need a nurse! :D

Can I be the receptionist/practice manager/whatever title they have these days?

For some reason I've always wanted to do that job! :o

Doing what I've wanted to do since I was 16/17. There hasn't been jobs out there for about 6 years but tomorrow the HSE are opening up a recruitment panel. YAY. Fingerscrossed for me please.

IF that doesn't work, I suggest myself Physiologyrocks and Al set up a little health centre! :D

Can I be in the health centre? I can look after the eyes? Pretty please? :o

    morning loungers,

on the bright side will be seeing the bf today, gonna be watching movies, he's cooking dinner today, going out to lunch, and among other things;)

I had a dream that James won Electric Picnic tickets in a dance-off. I was still all excited about going when I woke up. :(

Still, the little bunnies on the green bit I walk through from the carpark to the building I work in made me feel better. With their bouncing and cotton tails and Russian Doll range of sizes.

Now a day of software testing and I can relax for the weekend!

I feel old. Went out to a gig last night for the first time in months given my foot surgery... but also given that Im an old lady.. anyways, even though it was a school night I got on the gladrags and stuck on an extra layer of mascara... wasnt even out that late (um maybe 12:30?) and IM SHATTERED. How did I do it? Thankfully Ive no kids to see today so can hide in the office with coffee and trying to wipe the club stamp off my hand...OLD!

Any ideas of an out of the house first birthday party for coffee. It's not for 8 weeks but I don't want it in the house incase the ohs brothers and friends take is as an excuse for a session.

    Sports day in the park?

I don't mean like actual sports. I meal egg and spoon races and sack races and three-legged races such...

    And invite me.

Actually, even if you don't do this, can someone please organise a tLL version of this?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,016 ✭✭✭lilmissprincess

    That would be AWESOME!

I am a gorgeous shade of burnt after yesterday... back in work and my perfect record has been broken by one dodgy survey :/

Drinking on a school night is such a bad idea. Painkillers are doing nothing!

    Oooh sports day, yes please.

I kick ASS at the 3 legged race. Rhythm, speed, I have it all.

Can we have a kids race too? Pancake v coffeebean vs Das Kitty's little fella? :pac:

Ooh a sports day would be fun! I have the speed and agility of a stoned elephant so I'll be there to make everyone feel great about themselves :P

Or I can man the concession stand. Whichever.

    And Oreo.

I think James has the unfair advantage though. He's been practising his Dash from the Incredibles running (including smug face). His legs go hilariously quickly.

Wheelbarrow race fo life. With a game of Handstand Grandstand :)

(are kids allowed to play that in school anymore?)
