It's still warm, roasting some days, but high winds other days which is very unusual for May. Benahavis had hail showers 2 weeks ago.

Amazing! Thankfully the sun shone for us :D Enjoy every minute, Dol. It goes so quick.

Just back home after a few days away in Kerry and Dublin. Kerry was a nightmare, my mum is some piece of work, but Dublin was great fun with my sis and her husband. Aaaaaand I'm going back up again on Saturday with my bf for my birthday for a couple of days :D

The sun has been so amazing. Dare I say it? Loving Summer :D

Hope all the loungers are well and looking forward to the bank holiday weekend. My birthday is 3rd June so I always get a little break from work for my birthday :D

Hope all the jobhunting loungers get something soon, it's an absolute nightmare. I'm currently trying to do the London jobhunt from Dublin, feels like my evenings are taken up with applying, Skype interviews, online technical tests, code samples... exercise in frustration tbh.

Hope something turns up for you soon, Kirby!

I'm considering applying for training contracts in London over the next few weeks, even though it would most likely be a complete waste of time. I really feel like I should have something lined up for when I finish college.

The summer job hunt is still going woefully though. Very disheartening.

I'm so afraid of job hunting I've just stayed in college. I'm gonna be 25 by the time I finish and I don't even know what I'm going to do, I'll probably try and go do another degree. Three just isn't enough!

Good luck with the London hunt, though, Kirby and WinterSong.

25 is still so young though! :D I always freak out about how I'll be so old starting anything after college, but it's not true at all, it's just the way I think when I'm in a certain bubble.

And it's like all important things; once they're done, it doesn't matter how long it took you to do them! :)

I still think that free money for everyone is the best way forward though, eliminate the need for jobs completely :pac:

I was 26 when I finished my masters, desperate to get out of there by the time I was done tbh! I got offered a PhD spot but turned it down because I didn't fancy being in college until age 30...

I am peeling after being burnt last week so I have brown arms with pink blotches where I've peeled. Attractive... not! :pac:

I'm 25* and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up either. It's very frustrating lately. A nice epiphany would come in very handy.

    *May not be actual age

Well, obviously I'm still only 17 but I sometimes say I'm older to make old people feel better.

    *nods*

I don't know what I want to be when I grow up either. I've a feeling it'll have nothing to do with my degree though, whatever it will be.

In the realm of never-ever-gonna-happen dream jobs, I would have loved to work in fashion, in some way or another. But I've neither the body nor the creativity :o

I had such a fabulous day.

Met my friends in town and we went to dun laoghaire on the dart, spent ages in the sunshine on the pier then came back to sandymount. We walked halfway to the poolbeg lighthouse, got bored, and went to the Hard Rock Cafe for €5 cocktails :D

Off home tomorrow for my cousins hen night. Here's hoping the rest of my weekend continues like this :D

Oh and I got some fab pics on my shiny new camera :D if actuary doesn't work out I think ill be a photographer :p

That explains why you look so young. Now it all makes sense.

It happened for Rachel in Friends. The bitch.
I'm never offered amazing jobs while having my lunch in a restaurant. Humph.

Sounds like a lovely day, misslt. :)

Some people just have all the luck :(

Then again, I tend not to have lunch in restaurants very often, so maybe that's where I'm going wrong...

I've looked bu not applied. I don't mind my job and I don't really want to leave, especially as I believe the company is really going somewhere, but, the commute is killing me :(
So today, Al and myself are officially doctors. :D

I need a new doctor, wanna take the job?

    I'm 30 and I just finished college! :D

Doing what I've wanted to do since I was 16/17. There hasn't been jobs out there for about 6 years but tomorrow the HSE are opening up a recruitment panel. YAY. Fingerscrossed for me please.

IF that doesn't work, I suggest myself Physiologyrocks and Al set up a little health centre! :D

Best of luck to all the jobhunting loungers!

My mum retrained as a nurse at 35, she graduated when I was 15. One of her friends was in her late 40s when they graduated. Fair play to anyone who goes back to college IMO.
