    Well lah-di-dah! :)

Dying today, pulling a muscle in my shoulder and neck at the weekend and it came to a head last night. Very hard to lift pancake, and can't turn my head to the left. Know how it happened too. My MIL can be very generous in lots of ways but very tight in other ways. She buys really cheap crappy stuff for her house, including small, crummy uncomfortable beds. Every time I sleep there I get pains in my pack etc. And this "torticoli" (the funny word they use for pulled neck muscle in France) is a result of that.
(Another example, she called me a spendthrift for buying an expensive hoover. This is a woman who has 4, yes FOUR hoovers in her house, none of which work).

112g of flour (i used oats that were blended to look like a flour)
    2 medium eggs
210 ml of low fat milk
    90 ml of water
Frylight olive oil spray for the pan. 2 sprays per pancake

Mix it all up. Measure 2 tablespoons of the mixture into a ladle and pour into pan.
It was meant to make 10 pancakes but I got 12.

I hear ya! It looks so pretty outside. We need a beer garden and some drinks. I'm thinking a nice cold glass of cider, or a delicious cocktail - or both! :D

If I can move into a friends place and save on rent I think I might head to London for the weekend in September. Saturday spent meeting and drinking with e-friends. Friday and Sunday doing touristy things.

some manner of virus, girlfriend had it too. I was so out of it yesterday I stayed in bed until nearly 6 PM, then I was still out like a light when it came to bedtime later last night. feel better today, but still very ill. only thing to do is drink plenty of water and rest up.

painkillers to help with general aches and pains and sinus headaches, but that's about it.

also had a delay in getting my regular meds, so that had me thrown for one hell of a ride, I was going through nasty mood swings at the weekend, and getting all panicky for no reason. not been a fun week

but enough moaning, other than that I've had a serious go at my guitar playing, and I kinda feel like I'm getting somewhere :) been learning some music theory and stuff and it's going well. might even see about some lessons to get more direction :D

also, girlfriend surprised me by getting me the new Metro: Last Light

I think she doesn't want me too sleep

    how is all in Ellaville?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,772 ✭✭✭Ella

Ellaville is crap. I'm getting cabin fever so my mate it taking me to TGI later. She just better not have a beer in front of me or i'll open a can of whoopass :P

Get well soon Links :) Sounds like a nasty dose :(

Well the run didn't happen but it might later. On the train back to Dublin now and it's jammers. I'm sitting on the floor with some smelly fecker standing practically on top of me.

I'd give a kidney to be able to buy a car.

EDIT: make that two smelly feckers.
