Teeth are gone - feeling great! :D

Only taking paracetamol and anti-inflammatories. They gave me some super-strong ones too, but I haven't needed them yet. :)

Hope all good with you guys!

Glad you're feeling well PR. :)

Still feeling hunger pangs but I'm going to try to silence them with decaff green tea. Most likely I'm just thirsty. Bleh.

Would you consider doing a blog McChubbin? A couple of the ladies from the WW thread have them and use them as a sort of food diary.

    Hope everyone's well :)

    I thought that said bong
    what!

    :pac:

Stupid logic diagram I did missed out one possible scenario so I'd to trawl through my insanely nested if - statements to fix it up and count the brackets
    hmph
Now I've to fix up the associating ones

Counting the brackets is easily the worst part, drives me insane :(

Well my dad spoke to my landlady and she told him a slightly different version of events, which essentially means that the rent mix up was her fault and not mine, and we don't have to fork out everything she said we owe her.

I'm delighted, but still a little annoyed that I was being blamed for something that was completely not my fault. Still, I've learned to keep a record of any future transactions with her.

Hit by a car while cycling AGAIN

Seriously, you have to drive across the lane I'm progressing in to turn right. How can you not see me? I'm coming towards you.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,016 ✭✭✭lilmissprincess

Oh my god are you okay RQ?

Woke up this morning with a dodgy feeling that something wasn't right with himself and he's been very quiet all day today. Hmmm.

Are you hurt RQ? That's so sh*t!

Ah yeah I'm OK thanks. Luckily it was relatively low speed. I was going straight and she was coming from the opposite direction, waiting to turn right then moved into my path to turn so it was really me crashing into her(on my side of the road). I was going at about 30k at the time though. Luckily(?) it was a people carrier so the bonnet was higher and rather than going over it as I would have a smaller car I landed on it and slid to the ground. My face is a bit bashed up and I'm getting a bit achy now.

I'm meant to be doing a half Ironman at the weekend though :(

    RQ!

My god. I actually banned* Mike from cycling after the 3rd time he got hit. I really wasn't able for any more! He has terrible balance anyway so I don't think he was doing himself any favours by adding 2 wheels to himself.

*begged him to give up is probably more accurate.

    Ouch :(

Have a bath tonight if you can, to relax your muscles. Hopefully you won't need to see a doctor or anything! After I crashed my mum's car, I had a bath and a glass of wine to help me relax and I honestly think it helped!

Any excuse for a glass of wine :pac:

Jesus RQ! Did the driver check you were okay?

A sentiment I can fully agree with :pac:

Will be cooking with wine later, of course a nice big glass of it with dinner too :)

When she sat me down my thoughts were ''crap, can't ring mum, she'll go ape''

It happened literally 2 minutes from where my sister lives and my bro in law doesn't work Tuesdays so I put the SOS in to them instead of waking my poor mother up with it. 7 months since the last time I was hit. Nightmare, I know she worries sick about me going out on the bike but it has to be done. Can't afford to run a car at the moment.
Jesus RQ! Did the driver check you were okay?

Yeah she and another woman got out of their cars can ran over to me. I was lying on the ground and saw people running towards me and thought "sh*t better get up before someone calls an ambulance" :D

I'd just passed through a lollipop lady and the poor kids got an awful shock could hear one of them start to bawl crying. :(

    WHAT A DAY!

    *breathes*

I'm absolutely bet into this office-y dress I'm wearing today :( It fitted me perfectly exactly 12 months ago... Life is after getting too cosy for me altogether!

RQ I hope you're ok after that ordeal - I'm terrified of cycling in urban areas! Too many drivers just don't seem to give a flying...
