I'd never call Fox News balanced.

So your point is that you consider the other stations to be just as bad but in the other direction?

I'm going to go ahead and guess you don't actually watch Fox News or the other stations regularly because nobody who does is that stupid to make that comparison.

What I'm learning from looking at crowds of people is that its easy to spot who is in a group, of 2, 3 , 5 so on, and who is out of place and on their own and looking shady, cap , head down, everyone else head up, looking to left at runners coming in, one guy in crowd of 100's no interest on his own, cap down, head down
Like someone on their way home from work having to get through the crowd, thinking "Fúcking marathon blocking the streets, I'm starved and now I'm late too".....

I think we can all agree that person who done it was at scene at time ? That he deonated first bomb, BADA BOOOOM! Then added the second one, after a few screams of terror, timing it to cause even more terror, He was there ? for sure, watching on
And if I was him I'd be on other side of street some where in between both bombs, best view out of danger, I know people are focusing on scene of bombs, what cameras were pointed at scene
Me I'd think outside the box. Where would I stand to view my plan unfold . And what footage can I get of that area

No. We know very little at this stage, we can't assume anything.

Do you, or anyone have any idea how bombs were deonated . Not sure whats possible, did he need to be close ? I think maybe you do need to be close by, and anyone who builds a bomb wants to see it go boom. You just have too view it. To him that was best part, the power
    CLICK BOOM , CLICK BOOM
He was there in my opinion

What are you basing that on?

The fact pressure cookers were used is very helpful for authorities though. Once they know the make up of the device, couple that to a pressure cooker used, they can narrow down greatly the time window in which the bomber must have placed the device.

Not quite sure what that time window is but it definitely means they can rule out it being placed at 5am or in darkness etc.

So they will have a narrow enough window and examine everybody at the scene during that window, then couple that to the backpack used, and you probably have at most 2 or 3 people in the vicinity of both blasts in that time window with similar backpacks.

Anybody who has attended things like this know that people dont generally switch locations by 150 yards. When i watched the Tour de France in 1997 (i think) in Dublin, i picked a spot and stayed there for day. So the majority are stationary and fixed to their positions, which further helps them isolate their target.

I've seen it go off approx 500 times over the past two days.

    Why?

Surely they'd want to be far away off doing something completely unrelated to not draw attention to themselves?

Hearing the explosion while well away from the scene would I think be the choice of operation for most ...except suicide b.....s of course

I don't know if anyone saw this or if it has been mentioned in the thread already but there's a photo of a man consoling an injured woman (possible wife/sister/friend etc.) that is doing the rounds about Facebook and of course it comes with the caption, paraphrased:

"This man was going to marry his wife when she crossed the finish line but she died. 1 Like = 1000 Respects"

Social media really does highlight some of the biggest eejits in our society, seeing as this isn't true (as far as I'm aware) :(

An intuitive feeling, and fact there was lots of security around, He did not place bomb a month before , It was drop one bomb, drop another bomb, Now detonate once clear of them. He did not go home for cup of tea, no time, detonate before police suspect something, In his mind it was only a matter of minutes before bombs were found, He was sweating it full sure it would not succeed, QUICK QUICK ' ok job dont ' get clear BOOOM. BOOOM
    He was there

Are people speculating over all of this in the hope that in 10 or 20 pages time they can quote themselves and say "I told you so"?

May I be the first to say congratulations. Seriously this thread has descended into the written equivalent of Stevie Wonder playing guess who!
