The pictures of that little boy are heart breaking. I hope they catch the f**ker.

It's just mass paranoia and over sensitivity, both of which are completely justifiable given what's happened this week.

I mean, bit of a coincidence that everyone was down the courthouse to view the supposed suspect and then the place is evacuated. Must be just some bag unattended or something.

No they are not justifiable - its never justifiable for the press to stir **** up thorough shoddy reporting.

News just in - Kim Jong Un swears vengeance on the bomber for taking the media spotlight of him

I was talking about the public, not the press. Of course they're going to be on edge after what's happened.

Our resident terror expert is back on CNN live now, might provide some comedy value :pac:

If CNN are this poor I dread to think what;s going on at Fox.

Maybe if nothing else this'll help Irish people realise that the other news channels over there are as bad as Fox.

Eh... they're not. Not by any margin. While there may be some shoddy reporting on all sides Fox makes absolutely no attempt to remain unbiased and balanced. I watch it when I can't sleep at night solely as entertainment. It is absolutely a massive joke of a network.

Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck, surely they cannot be topped by a rival U.S network?

Just because one happens to agree with the slant of one side doesn't make the other side more slanted.

Posting pictures of a guy in a crowd, who in all likelihood had nothing to do with the bombings, doesn't help "find a killer"

No, the fact that one side is as slanted as Jackie Chan's vision makes them more slanted than the other.

I don't always disagree with Fox News, but I always agree it's stupid to call it balanced.

It's wrong to start a witch hunt after an innocent person.

Whilst you are correct, i would wonder how many with that identical backpack would have been pictured at the precise scene where the bomb went off. Presumably that is something they can narrow down from the CCTV footage across the street.

I.e. the backpack does not make him a bomber, but having the same backpack at the bomb location does make him worthy of questioning.

Do you seriously think posting a photo of someone who you have no evidence is responsible for this on an Irish message board is going to help bring the actual perpetrator to justice?

True. but it can help eliminate an innocent man, and police have asked for pictures

I know if I had picture of shady looking person I'd share it, like asked to do by police
    But you're right, wrong place

 I don't think the police have asked anyone to share pictures. They've asked for relevant pictures to be sent to the FBI so they can analyse them.

But if you don't live near the FBI you have to share it so someone who does might get it and bring it to them.

Also more to the point it's being reported that Law Enforcement wish to speak with a man wearing a white baseball cap and a black jacket. From what i can tell the guy in the snipped picture was wearing a blue jacket over a red sweater.

Mind you i'd take the news reports with a pinch of salt right now.

I'm heading that way now meself, I can drop in the pics for anyone who has them.

With all the shoddy reporting it's only a matter of time before the hypocrisy is lost and these media outlets start blaming the likes of Reddit and 4Chan for the same thing they're doing, throwing shìt at the wall and seeing what sticks.

I have that guy too ! love to share but won't, he has back pack near finish line, then no back pack while walking away, all before anything happens
He looks strange as in pic everyone is looking to left
ie like in tennis ...left right left right
eveyone looking left, not him, so guilty (joke) But worth talking to for sure

Just because one happens to agree with the slant of one side doesn't make the other side more slanted.

I genuinely can't understand what you mean by this.

You said hopefully CNNs preemptive reporting should show that it's not just Fox News that are terrible in America.

I just made the point that Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck are quite clearly aiming at the niche market of borderline mentally unstable Americans and their performances surely cannot be beaten by any competition?

What I'm learning from looking at crowds of people is that its easy to spot who is in a group, of 2, 3 , 5 so on, and who is out of place and on their own and looking shady, cap , head down, everyone else head up, looking to left at runners coming in, one guy in crowd of 100's no interest on his own, cap down, head down

Yeah, not like we live in the electronic age eh? I mean, what's the point of emails anyway?

Watching Vincent Browne, almost every paper tommorow is leading with the story that the bomber has been caught on CCTV.
