What'd a good gaming mouse be?

Preferably under 50 quid, wired, fairly big (I have big hands).

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-G400-Optical-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00573Y2RC/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1365281012&sr=1-1&keywords=g400

    anything else is terrible.

Really? You've tested every mouse on the market personally then?

While I'm a big fan of logitech mice, they aren't big and the design is quite old and has been improved on in a lot of mice.

I have the fireglider which is the one just under the Drakonia. It's a fantastic mouse but the decal on it is rubbish. It picks up any sweat from your hands. I don't have sweaty hands at all and it's always dirty. Never happened with any other mouse I've used. I'm not sure if the Drakonia has the same kind of paint job but it looks like it does. Aside from that, the Fireglider is a great mouse. I can only assume the Drakonia is too.

This is great for the money. I don't own one but the reviews everywhere seem to be positive and it's quite large. Going to get one myself. Go with amazon seller so the delivery is free. I couldn't link it directly.

I dunno... that name is pretty terrible...:pac:

I have a Razer deathadder and even though I have big hands, find it really comfy to use.

    About ~57€ delivered

    Ordered this.

Amazon's currency exchange is a bit weird.
If I pay in € it's 32.50 but if I pay in sterling it works out at only 30.

    Thanks.

Moved my PC from the living room to the bedroom recently and waiting on some powerline adapters to be delivered - however have discovered my phone is an excellent wireless adapter in the meantime! Streaming TG4 (football match) at the moment no hassle! Made sure to turn off 3g data just incase i got landed with a huge bill!

Whats your budget and do you make use of a sound card? I probably won't be able to answer your question but I'm guessing someone who can would do better with the information.

Are those powerline adapters any good? The original location where I was going to put my new PC is no longer viable so I'm going to have to move it upstairs. Are these things an option?

Yeah I have my PC upstairs and my router downstairs and I'm using the power line adapters and I find them great. I've had no trouble with them.

Surround sound headphones are bunk. With a competent soundcard you will get a better effect on 2.0.

Really?I must go do some more research before I go buying anything so.The surround sound set I currently have sound quite good excluding the buzzing noise being caused by the mic.

You don't get your full speed do you? What sort of figure are we looking at 1/2 speed? 1/4? Also what model do you have in your house?
Need to look into all these things now

I picked one up 5-6 months ago because of how cheap it is and how much my previous mouse was beginning to annoy me. I have to say I was surprised at how much I like it, it's got pretty much all the features of more expensive mice just at a better price.

The one thing that's against it, I suppose, is that some people may not like its looks, but then again that's true for most gaming mice.

I had the same problem with mine. It left tamworth at 5am on a Friday and didn't get the import scan until Tuesday afternoon. That was mainly because of the bank holiday. I think they leave all the parcels in Dublin (not scanned) until they are ready to send them out for delivery.
Guys in the call centre will tell you the same thing as it says on your tracking info.

Download your mainboard and graphics drivers and all the software you will need for a fresh windows install, browsers, anti virus ect.

Might as well have them all ready to go. I'm not sure about service packs.
