    Is it locked to VF?

I would say no, but it is Vodafone branded with the logo on boot and some of their apps

Come on lads, Early first impressions please :P

Look, build and feel of device is stunning - best i've ever used (including Lumia 920 / iPhone 5 etc).
Performance everything zips along, no lag.
Camera, only took a couple of snapshots but better than I expected.
Sense 5 skin, I like it, prefer it over touchwiz but still prefer the quick access to settings in touchwiz.
Thought I'd come across my first bug with the mail app as it wouldn't save my exchange profile, turned out I had used up my limit of 10 devices over the years permitted to connect to exchange :D .

Blinkfeed is actually better and more useful than i thought(once you move it away from the default home screen). Useful to browse through the feeds, handy with the integration with the TV app (which is also better than I thought it would be). Just needs some additional sources and being able to select sources from multiple regions -e.g if you select the UK as your region you can't select US specific feeds e.g. verge which is only available in the US region.

Overall very impressed after a couple of hours, still not quite sure on the battery life however. Device was approximately 50% charged when I turned it on at about 11. Had to start re-charging about 3.45 pm.
That was with constant use for nearly 5 hours installing apps, browsing, using it as a remote. No media viewing though.

NIce and slick, slippier to hold that the HTC One X due to the metallic back, shouldn't be a problem though. User Interface is slightly different so taking a little bit of getting used to - overall for the deal i got im well happy, Not sure if id have bought it for anything higher seen as i had a One X And the jump isn't huge.. Havent played with it that much yet though to be fair!

Seriously premium feeling phone. Happy with the camera, Blinkfeed looks ok but have already changed the homescreen to a more traditional one. Seeing up the tv remote was a doddle.

Still need to play a bit more to do some Zoe's etc.

Thought I might suffer from buyers remorse after getting rid of a decent phone to get this, but no, more than happy.

Forgot to say its extremely loud, first time the phone rang it scared the life out of me :D.
Had to turn the ring volume down to about a third of what it was set as.

The headphone jack doesn't seem to work. Audio still plays through the speakers with headphones plugged in.

It's my only problem with the phone so far.

    Download sgs secret code app.

Thats not for htc. Im not around anyone with a micro sim at the minute. There is no meteor branding anywhere if that means anything.

My first Zoe has been created. Can't say it fits with the mood of today, but pretty cool nonetheless.

Just been quoted an upgrade price by emobile of €319 on contract. That was on the highest tariff of Select Unlimited. Had to ask him twice and he confirmed that was for the 32gb with no price or availability on the 64gb. Wondering how much that enquiry will cost me as I've never called another planet before.

Cheers. I would but I'm on a special offer deal of 45,000 minutes, 15000 texts and 15gb data per month over 18 months for €34.50 I wanted to keep. At the price they're quoting I'll probably just get an iphone 5, flog it new and buy sin free in the USA.

Just wanted to add for anyone ordering online from O2, Meteor or Voda as a new connection you can get another €30-€45 off by going through Fatcheese. (I have no affiliation to them whatsoever just used them a good few times) http://www.fatcheese.ie/mobiles/contracts-payg/

Yea I get the same when I check the tracking number.

I really, really want one. Sick of my 4S at this stage and eager to go back to Android but I'm in contract until August. I just love the form factor of the One and the dual speakers with the Spotify app look like offering a great little portable media player.

Yea man I agree! I've just moved from my iPhone 4s to the HTC One will be getting it on Tuesday it will also be my first android phone. Was just really bored with the 4s and hate the iPhone 5. I thought the HTC One looks like what the iPhone 5 should off been.

Mate bought one from Voda today, both branded and network locked (S-ON) so people know.

Gorgeous phone, by far the nicest aesthetics on an android phone to date incidentally.

Saw this in a three store today, it was just a display unit and not turned on, but it really does feel lovely. The only thing putting me off getting this is, I know that come November I'll want a new Nexus, and will probably buy one.

It is a lovely phone. Real nice. Sure you can sell it in November and get your nexus then :-)

Anyone know where you can buy a case for the One in Dublin? Might order one on eBay but expect to have to wait a good week for it to arrive.

Tried to order an upgrade from VF online last night but was put on backorder as they were "out of stock". Might try a shop today.

Pricing was 49.99 for the phone on their 55 pm plan. It's better and cheaper than my current contract. Only sticking point is the 24mth contract but I'm over 2 years on the DHD with them anyway.

I think you're better off with the 24 month than 18, in two years time there will be a new range of phones out like the Galaxy S6 etc, in 18 months there might be a new nexus out but all other phones would have been out 6 months and you'll be tempted to wait for another 6 months for the new ones. You may as well have the lower price for the phone and maybe even a lower tarrif.

Though 12 months would be perfect
