Weren't you just arguing a week or two ago against digital download :p

Probably :) When PSN ceases to cater for the PS3 & consoles start dying after that for example, I'm sure many others will argue against it. You will have lost everything you've bought. I can't see console manufacturers supporting past consoles indefinitely & they will eventually cut them loose. Will Sony 'unlock' all the PS+ content in that case? If my console dies & there's no PS+ for PS3 anymore my purchases are effectively lost. I see Steam differently because a PC today will be the same as a PC in five years...Steam being very successful will probably be around for a very long time. Consoles though, as we've already seen with the original Xbox, have a shelf life which is both physical & digital.

So yeah, I'm far from convinced. But €50 for 15 months of free games seems a no brainer, regardless of how I feel about it :)

digital format is great when it's appropriately priced, like with Steam.
but when you have the likes of Xbox GoD charging €59.99 for new releases, and still charging €40+ when the physical copy has dropped under the €20 mark, there's no incentive to buy digitally.
and alot of people still want the option of selling on the game if it's pants.

There's a demo of it to download from the eshop. It doesnt play well at all. Definitely doesnt feel like a castlevania game. More like a side scrolling God of War.

Havant turned on th3 3ds in ages may try the demo.

So many good games out this month, I'm going to be way behind whenever I finally get my financial situation sorted.

I'm going to, without a shred of guilt, trade in some games I bought for the ps3 and 360 in the last year and never got time to play, so farewell Mass Effect 3, Bon Voyage Goldeneye! Hello Bioshock Infinity for a tenner!

You really should have played ME3. There's a lot of great stuff in there...

Oh, I'll get it again, with all the dlc for a tenner somewhere later in the year!

Supposed to be any good? I did wonder on the tv ad how it won 85 awards before it was even out. Maybe Most Anticipated or some crap like that.

Reviews are very encouraging anyway (although shame to hear the ever unreliable IGN got an 'exclusive' review just like the bad old days of Official magazines)

I think those awards tend to be from things like E3, other trade shows and yeah annual previews. It is all a bit meaningless, but people like numbers.

Just picked up Bioshock: Infinite as well. Was hoping to finish SC2: Heart of the Swarm first, but if I leave Bioshock too long it will probably be spoiled for me... Have Monster Hunter WiiU on it's way to me this week as well.

When I was in the game shop there was some poor kid trading in a bunch of games to get the new Walking Dead game, the nice lady behind the counter advised him against it though. Wish she was around when I bought the Lost video game.

Sometime between April 11-14, no times or exact dates announced yet. And don't mention the 'd' word! Subs for life.

Japanese Embassy accidentally sent around an email announcing some of the films :p Only confirmed for Dublin so far, schedules tend to be a little different in the various cities.

Might be of interest to some: if you order Persona 4 Arena from Game it will ship with a free vinyl of the soundtrack. That's a pretty cool extra I have to admit!

Well, we're on Vodafone (a fixed line apparently, and not a mobile connection as I thought and feared). So...is there any PPPoE address I need?
