Compiling a list of things to buy from Aldi next time I'm near one... very interesting thread.

One item I noticed in Dealz was Simple Shampoo / Conditioner for €1.50, when I'm fairly sure it's around €4 in Boots and can be hard to find elsewhere. Good if you have sensitive skin.

    Same goes for Simple Talc.

a 6 pack of tesco chocolate mousse for either €1.06 or €1.04, cant remember, but they're light ones as well, something like 80kcal per pot which makes it even better :)

About the fresh pesto from Aldi, be careful; it's 60% fat, although only 10% of that is saturates at least. Mainly olive oil from what I can tell.

Pennys Dundrum had these today, slightly higher price. They were selling the hand towels for €1 but the bath towels were €3. Flying out the door :D. Even the girl on the register commented on how good value they were.

Aldi Almat COLOUR tablets won't bleach the colour out of your clothes. Great for the dark stuff. I use it all the time for jeans/tee shirts :D

I bought these last year in dark blue - they were the only colour on sale. Have to say I was really impressed with the quality. They wash really well and are fluffy straight off the clothes line. My more expensive towels need a run through the dryer to be that fluffy. Good at full price from Penneys but even better when you catch the sale :D

I bought the tesco everyday value micro fibre cloths 5 pack the other day for 1.85.
They are better than any of the more expensive branded ones I've bought before

Got some cheap-'n'-nasty shampoo in the euro shop for €1.50 each shampoo and conditioner. But is there anywhere selling the nicer shampoos cheaper?

Alberto Balsam coconut, strawberry, blueberry, rasberry, apple and other shampoo and conditioners are often on offer for €1 or 2 for 3 or other similar offers. I think they are good, I love the smell of the coconut and strawberry versions but coconut seems harder to find these days. Aldi also do similar ones (which I believe may be made by the same company for €1.39)
