Douglas had Cruzcampo beer last night. 50c per 330ml bottle. Filled the basket with 20 bottles. Approached the till and the checkout girl said she couldnt put them through as it was 10:01. F*ck you Fianna Fail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went back down this morning and they were all sold out. Just a heads up they could be that price elsewhere

Did you not do what any fellow board member would do and hide them when you were refused and collect them in the morning?

I picked up some of the twin packs of pillows in Tesco Ballybeg. They had none in Ardkeen. Ballybeg also had king size or was it superking duvet?
I was after the single ones, but managed to track them down in Tesco Tramore.

I saw a fair few in Tesco Balbriggan last week but I didn't study them to see if they were the ones on offer or the full price ones. There was definitely a mixture of styles iykwim. Knowing them they were all mixed up to con the buyer.:rolleyes:

Lots of herbal tea half price in Tesco, mahon including camomile, peppermint, pu-erh honey and ginger, green tea. Not showing up online so not sure if the offer is over (still on offer yesterday though) or if it is store specific.

There was still a few of the duvets and pillows there yesterday.

In clearance corner Shamrock white Marzipan blocks were 67c. Lots of them there. All the chocolate coins are long gone:(

Lidl are opening a big new store just opposite Tesco Artane Castle.

Store is allmost built and will be opening 1st weekend of March.

I wonder is that why Artane Castle have suddenly dropped alot of their prices,again after ramping them up a few weeks ago.:rolleyes:

Is Tesco afraid of having a new Lidl store beside them???:pac::pac::D

Lots of the pillows and KS duvets in Naas..
The Duvets are are in the clearance section on the far right wall near the electrical section...

Prices are centrally set, all tescos are the same price except express'

Not so, judging by the amount of bargains in here that turn out to be store specific. To the extent that there are numerous requests to name a store where you see a bargain in order to save a fruitless trip to another store.

Prices in Tesco are all set in somewhere like Bangalore (if I remember)

The only reason items are not found in all stores is that stores are different sizes with not all items stocked in every store.

Individual stores may have limited yellow sticker reductions occassionaly

They could have the wrong price sel in front of the item, prices change all the time, like 600 new prices per day!

Sels have version numbers, so Celbridge may not have displayed version 22 of that SEL, they still have version 21 on display, but if you scan the item at the till, it will be the same price all over the country.

Good few kids toys reduced (like anyone wants to see more toys!)

Nutgrove also clears out it's hot food counter at about six o'clock. Happened past it once and couldn't understand the queue, but there was a fair amount left when the queue had picked it over.

First time drinking it. Its nice and smooth but the head might be hurtin in the morning.
