Not a bargain but where else shall I stick this?
I notice Tesco, Nutgrove have INCREASED the price of their tins of Quality Street to €6.60.
All over Christmas they were €5.00 and I assumed they'd drop the price to get rid of the stock, but no, they've increased it and not only that, they've stuck a sticker on the sign saying "HALF PRICE", but sure when they were 5.00 it said the same thing?!

Next time you are in Tesco Extra Naas, check out the Tesco promise behind the electrical desk.... Its says you get the item for free. At the customer service desk out front of the store it says double the difference.

Loads of of Kelloggs on offer at the moment. Some may argue its still dearer than some shops own brands but the opinion in my house is they don't taste as good.

    Cornflakes 1KG €3.
    Crunchy Nuts 500g €1.99.
    Special K 750g €4.
    Special K Oats and Honey 650g €4.

The network shows up as "Tesco Wifi." You need to register your clubcard number to connect to it but if you've no club card you can get an hour free as a guest.

I hope it isnt off topic, it was news to me anyhoo... handy to browse this thread as you shop :pac:

Thanks, got my Kindle registered whilst shopping today :D

A bit random but in Tescos Balbriggan they have packets of pencils with names on them reduced to 49c. However, the 'Ben' ones are scanning at 8c not sure if there's any other ones.

Might stop the kids from nabbing my sons pencils at school!

    Clare Hall

The remaining Xmas chocolates and sweets are greatly reduced (not all of them, for some reason). Chocablocks 1.25€, Lily O'Briens chocolates: small box for 5€, large one (430g) for 7.5€
