I ordered it yesterday just after 3pm, can't view the tracking info yet but it says in the email I received:
"Note that it may take 24 hours for your tracking number to return any information."

Just put an order in now.
Used my PM as shipping address.
Used my home as billing address but put the PM post code at the end.
Added a new AIB Visa card to pay.
I got confirmation email.
Is there anything I forgot or is there a still a strong possibility of them cancelling?

Hey all,

Did anyone who double ordered, successfully cancel their second one?

I got an email from play support saying that they'd cancelled it, but it's still pending in my wallet.
I sent them a follow up, but no response yet!

Yeah, I reckon the same thing has happened to me, but the agent who told me my order was cancelled, when it really wasn't, is too afraid to mail me back

I had given up on the Nexus 4 and pre ordered a Xperia Z, but I've given it a go now.
Used my existing account and added a not previously used visa debit with irish address and UK post code.
Then used parcel motel as the delivery address.

Had a few problems, couldn't complete due to a technical error first time.
Emptied the basket and tried again and it worked, no on screen confirmation though, could nearly have ordered 2 if I hadn't heard about it here.
The order has been sent to Google Commerce ltd so lets see what happens.

In case anyone is confused, this is how I have mine set up.

Using my own personal Gmail address
Used the Mastercard that I had set up with the PM address
Used my own personal address and mobile number as home address
Ship to and Bill to were both set to the PM address at checkout

Still no sign of a shipping notice. I placed my order at 3:11, so am starting to fear that it will be cancelled.

Going by the xda forums google aren't going by the time of the orders, some people who ordered at 3 haven't heard a thing, others who ordered hours later have already got theirs delivered, seems to be random.

I'm using the Antrim Parcel Motel, ordered at 1.30pm yesterday. Ended up with 2 confirmation emails! Still waiting on shipping notice.

That's something that I'd be interested to know, too.

Like others, I'm waiting for anything beyond the initial order confirmation.

Thought someone a page or two back has had theirs shipped to the Antrim PM, I seen someone on the xda forums say the same thing too.

My mate ordered about 15 mins before me on same computer and sending to his address in Newry. He recieved shipping confirmation today Im still waiting.

What would you do if you we're working in the google accounts department and you seen 20+ orders going to a parcel motel in Antrim and every credit card address for Southern Ireland??? It's only a matter of time before the rejection emails start flowing in!!! (Fingers still crossed tho):-D

Can I ask those people who got the cancellation emails - Had you the billing address entered as that of your card or the parcel motel address? Also was it Visa Debit or a regular Visa credit card?

Yeah I've used a credit card and AIB were able to add the parcel motel address as a valid delivery address, hopefully that trick will work for me.

Yeah, could be. That said, I was told that the address didn't form part of the authorisation request for a debit card.
Thing is, Google are very good at data mining... they're going to spot anomalies pretty swiftly I would have thought.

Anyhow... plan B.

My billing address was my actual billing address, but with PM NI postcode on the end.

I tried the method that gerryk used in Dec and got cancelled too.

Well, I guess I'm just not meant to have one

Might as well put my name into the pot for people who double ordered, but don't need a second phone

I might try ordering a third time, don't they say third time lucky??
