You'd wonder why it's not tested, it being the "best example of a 944 S2 in Ireland" 'twould fly an NCT surely.

Is that the carsireland thingy? It is surprising that it has no test, emissions failure perhaps?

Pre 93 stuff has a very generous emissions spec :)
I'd say that example has been off the road while its gotten some TLC, tis indeed carsireland I checked on.

Had a quick look but can't see how to do this from the free report. Could you shed some light? Would be very useful.

Obligatory entry - NCT, no mention of tax, leather, serviced, 3 litre V6. I know nothing about these, but if you landed for €500 it's cheap motoring (excluding tax of course).

I could be wrong, but I think that was posted here recently. Had a pic of the rear 3/4 with a stupidly large exhaust on too, which disappeared soon after it was linked to on here :D

If I got 6 months out of it before it needed an expensive repair that would wright it off, it would be money well spent.

Mmmm silky smooth v8 5.0, very tasty

I do wonder what qualifies a person to make such a comment on their car. Have they examined all the other 944 s2 models in Ireland? I wouldn't think so. It's a bullsh!t type of comment for a seller to make.

They obviously haven't examined all the other cars but a seller might feel he put enough time and money into his motor to claim that it's the best one. Quite a few 944's in Ireland are probably fairly poor condition so with all the work that one has done to it and if it's genuine, then it could well be the best 944 at that price range in Ireland. :)

I'm surprised that hasn't sold in the 30 days the ad's been up (even with stellar miles on it). Surely he'd let it go for €600? I'd buy it. Tax if for 3 months, then NCT it early.

Fail (unlikely, it passed less than 3 months ago) -> unlucky, dump it for a few hundred quid

Pass (likely), keep it or sell it on for a profit...

Edit: these cars with modest size wheels are extremely comfortable, nothing short of a senior executive class car (S-class, etc.) comes close...
