Yep the navan store is the one i reserved mine in. I emailed Argos as well I think something is a miss there. They told me it was a glitch in the system and no new stock was received but other stores seem to have gotten their stock.

I was onto argos helpers on twitter about this issue where i was told they wouldnt sell the shaver to me at that price because it was a wrong price.

They told me that it was down to the store managers discretion weather he honours the price or not so i guess this one is the only one in the country who isnt.

Looks like this thread can finally be closed as the current price of €79.98 is now valid to 4th Dec. Thanks again to Pauleoin for the original post.
I'm definitely curious as to how many of us bought electric shavers on the back of this ...

Well I bought two. Great Xmas present. Would have bought more if it didn't go back up in price.

A lot of blokes will be getting these for Christmas I'd say. Fair play. One of the better ones I have seen for stocking fillers. :)

Is the Silvercrest one in Lidl at €29.99 any use?

    http://www.lidl.ie/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_ri_ie/hs.xsl/index_25699.htm

I've tried this from Lidl and it's excellent actually - baby smooth finish compared to the rotary Philips for me - see here for some specs and details.

If your local Lidl still has it it's well worth the €30 IMHO.

She had a good run alright!

Final count on checkargos is that it was searched for 13,760 times since the bargain alert began, by far the most searched for product on checkargos.

(I mentioned before that I would check the validity of the search amount, number of logged searches is consistent with google analytics so it must be true)

I was fortunate enough to get an unused reservation number from a fellow boardsie, and on the evening I collected it there were at least two others collecting theirs.

    Thanks again to the OP

^ Gutted I missed this one. Is this or could this be the bargain of the year?

I'd have it as a toss between this and the 42 inch lg 3d tv (2011) that was cleared off by argos at half the price of the 2012 model with pretty much the same spec
