    https://www.dropbox.com/spacerace

Sign into dropbox and enter your UL email and instantaneously get 3GB of extra space for 2 years!
The more of us that sign up the more GB we get for our university!
We all could earn up to 25GB so get signing up!

It's pissing me off that I'm getting emails about lost glasses and pen drives and not one about something like free DropBox space that is actually useful to everyone!

No emails, don't 'like' them on Facebook.

Email reaches pretty much 100% of the college - putting it on your Facebook page, not so much.

It was sent via an AllStudent email a few weeks ago.

It was point 5 on the email IIRC.

One thing I always do when I decide to listen to music,
Turn on music, take off headphones, hold them out at arms length,
If I can hear the music from them it's too loud...

So to anyone who doesn't know who I am or what I look like,
I'm the tool in the library listening to my music, via headphones, at arms length :)

I thought I was the only one that did this. If I'm using a different set of headphones for the first time I'm so paranoid that everyone around me can hear the music even if its turned way down. I check almost every 5 minutes.

Yeah, I do that as well. It's not like you're really listening to the music anyway. The whole point is to create a fog of sound to block out people walking around and other small noises.

Sometimes though it can be counter-productive when the volume of the music suddenly peaks and you're constantly checking if it can be heard by others.

Lecture hall in Pess building. Go in the main entrance to the Pess building, up the stairs, turn left, follow the corridor until you see the hall on the right.

    Week was chaos...
Spent first three days in library,
Writing and typing up notes for assignment on Friday,
Wednesday night I fell asleep and at some point in the night,
Turned so violently I hit my laptop off the desk next to me..
    Woke up Thursday morning,
Turned on the laptop and realised the only function is possessed was the ability to tell me how much battery it had left, and what wifi was available, due to a huge crack down the middle of the screen, blocking about 4/5 of it,
Leaving all the work I had done on it inaccessible..
Sent an email on Wednesday explaining case asking for an extension,
Got an email back today at 10 O Clock,
Whilst I was in his class eventually allowing it...
    Delighted.
    50% assignment,
    Screwed if I got a 0 for it :/

Random (and probably stupid) question, but does the print shop in the courtyard do posters?

Yes. We got some pretty good quality A3 sized ones done a couple of years back for a project.

    Awesome. :)

That's one Christmas present sorted then. :)

Any idea about the price for an A3 out of interest?

Not to sure for an A3 price might be a couple euros. A3 is the largest they print

I got an A3 done for 1 euro. I'm pretty sure I've seen them do larger.

    The statistics are in people!

This thread was setup a little over 4 years ago.
During that time a lot of bitching has been had.

Despite only being in UL for a small duration of the past 4 years, wnolan1992 has won the award for most bitching by a wide margin!

[The above fantastic analysis has been provided curiosity of procrastination]
