Yep had a good few of those alright full clip from the first assault rifle and he turns and drops me in one. Two or three torso hits with the first sniper same thing, and again with the first hand gun utter nightmare.

A lot of bendy bullets too last night shouting around corners and stuff and a few times in Dom the furious and ikells would spawn infront of me and it kill them even though im not near ther spawn area when they were holding two flags, a minute later same thing only it's me appearing in front of them.

Had 2 games of Capture the flag last night. On both games i was doing great. 2 on leader board and then my PSN signs me out. not sure if its the game or what but there was no loss in internet connection. P!ssed me right off so played campain mode. I like the story line so far, not sure about the guns!

Anyone feel that the recoil on several guns is non existent. I know the guns are in the future and all that but still.

and that fecking Lightning missile thing , gets me every time then when i get it, i get no kills

Really enjoying the gameplay otherwise though

It seems that lag compensation returns with a vengeance for people with good internet

Any game I have been host it is unplayable. I can empty a whole clip into somebody and nothing and they are getting instant kills and kills through walls etc. The gun will just not aim when I am host. I am going from games where I am not host I am getting 2.5kd to 0.6 when I am host. The only kills I get is when somebody is facing the other direction and not moving. Its not games with 3 bars and lower. It only happens when I have a good really good connection or I am host.

Another thing I noticed was that one player would consistently skip around the map. The same player was disapearing and reapearing two or three foot in front. See the following example posted on youtube. I don't know what is going on with lag specific to one player.

I am getting host much more then usual for some reason with this game. When I am not host I do not have these issues. I also keep getting matched with American lobbys and getting host. It makes no sense except maybe its just the just the number of Americans online. It seems every game I go into the host quits and I get host

I am sure it will settle down a bit. I just wish Activision would give dedicated servers for this game. Same ****e at launch every year.

Its one issue but it is a huge issue for me. I have been playing Halo 4 since launch and have not had a single issue with lag compensation or hit detection. Just seems less laggy bull**** kills and more skill based. Hard to tell which one I will play more in the future but I will keep both.

What the **** is going on when somebody is hip firing with a sniper and it beats an SMG. I hope that's down to lag compensation. Too many head glitch points and the usual COD campfest. I suppose that's what makes the game so popular. It caters to so many play styles. No matter how cheap

I like them maps are really colourful as opposed to varying shades of grey and brown, the train station level is fantastic looking, think Terminal. the one set in india is nice too, reminds me of Invasion from mw2

Spawns ATM are Shiite. Hopefully this will cure itself. As said head glitching. And corner camping whores. And the French Yanks Spanish and English. This game brings a whole new racist side to me.

I've dashboarded atleast 10 times today....probably more. The games keeps freezing because the lag is so bad. I didn't pay 45 euro to run 10 feet then not be able to move for 5 or 10 secs.....then for the game to come back and see I've respawned. The lobby is cat altogether......hit search.....freeze.....stare at the black screen for a few minutes. I've turned it off for a while, hopefully it will be better later on.

Server is down for me aswell so I have some time to type.

I think its great apart from some minor flaws. The spawns are wonky just like all other COD games on release but they should iron out over the next few days. The colours and gameplay are very good but the one thing that's bugging me is the lag I'm getting on a 4 bar. People are killing me with one bullet. And aswell as that, what I liked about Blops 1 was that if you knew you weren't winning a gunfight you could get out of there. In this, if you're seen, you're dead.

The guns seem pretty balanced. Everyone seems to be using a different set up and each gun has advantages and disadvantages. I seem to be hunted down by every kind of air support but hopefully people will start to vary the killstreaks . That hunter killer drone is a right pain in the arse.

Have you set search preferences to best by any chance? When you're just about to pick a game it lets you press X to adjust how you find games

I changed mine to BEST and it sorted out all of my lag issues I had and put on this thread. Found games in no time and they where 4 bars across the board and I did not get host once (happy days)

All good for me today. No lag issues and

The Rapid fire, laser and extended mag on the MP7 is lethal. Who needs a secondary

I returned the game and got a full refund, paid €60 and from the sounds of things I had been ripped off so I'm glad I got it all back and I'm looking forward to far cry 3 instead.

There were times I enjoyed the game but more often than not I was thinking this is a bit sh*t and it's no better if not worse than black ops 1. I really liked the class creation but felt there weren't enough weapons to choose from. Had the mp7 from the start and there was no reason to pick anything else with its damage, rate of fire and little recoil.

Ps3 kept freezing at loading screens and then I had to turn it off and wait for the ps3 to check and restore the system data.
The amount of host migration was ridiculous, would happen at least every third match and sometimes 2 or 3 in the one match.
Didn't really like the maps, turbine, overflow, yemen, plaza, express, carrier etc were all a bit meh.
Camping
Zombies has got quite boring, played it lots in waw and bo and the formula hasn't changed and there is only so many times I can stand starting a new round of it.

Its as much Sony as Activision I think. Its always something with the PS3.

I actually prefer the PS3 controller as I like fighting games also and used to really like the PS3 but switched over to xbox and never looked back. Skyrim, BF3, Black ops all had serious issues that took too damn long to sort out. Skyrim DLC still not sorted for it. Not being able to install a lot of the games on the HD on the PS3 is stupid. The disc spinning like a harrier jet during COD. Huge patch updates and ****e download speeds. I don't understand why a 3mb patch on the xbox is 300mb on the ps3.

The down time for maintenance and the hacking lark a while back was the straw to break the camels back. Its worth 50 quid a year subscription to avoid all the headaches.

A proper chance? Have you not seen the amount of complaints about this game? There is a lot! Why release a broken game? They should have a beta and test it thoroughly before releasing it.

how can you beta test having 500k people on a server at one time? there's always issues with big games and online for the first few days, Halo, Gears, COD, you name it.

I'm not just talking about server issues btw, I know numerous people who needed to bring the disc back as their console wouldn't read it, bullets actually curve around corners, the hit detection is terrible I could go on and on.

If any game is given you some hard reboots you should take it back, no point in holding it past any possible refund date, then give it another shot after the fix whatever the problem is.

I got 4 hard reboots in an hour earlier, i'll be taking it back tomorrow.

Waht console is it on?
Ps3 seem to be having problems connecting to servers but when people change accounts it works.Could be cache related.

Xbox 360:make sure you have an open nat, failing that,try clearing the system cache.

Have not been able to get into one public lobby today since I started playing at 7 o'clock. Luckily thre were a good few friends on and we could play in private lobbies. None of em could get into public lobbies. Ps3.
Very annoying tbh. There's only 300k online. First nights of other cods there was often over the million online. Why are they still having these issues and more importantly why oh why do we keep buying it.
