Very good game too. It was worth the price when it was a ~€5, so it's definitely worth the download!

When playing a game e.g. Angry Birds, is it possible to hear the audio via Airplay devise?

Just a couple of good ones i got recently!

Need for speed Most wanted is outstanding... Pricey but well worth it IMO

Zygna Poker.... Could waste hours on it if you're into poker and its free.

Procreate....Ultimate digital design program if you are into it. I was seriously blown away with it, expensive but took a gamble from reading the good ratings. TIP: use a stylus.

Fancy..... excellent window shopping tool to see what cool gadgets/ clothes/ accessories/ everything really is out there. And links to any of the products websites if you do feel like buying them, although most products are ridiculously overpriced...... Free as well.

Dead Trigger is a pretty cool zombie FPS. Very good controls and that bit tricky so it doesn't get boring. Its free on the charts at the moment.

Alien Blue.... Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but its the client app for the Reddit site, excellent layout and it's much better for browsing on than using the website. It has full control that the site does. FREE/ pay for full version.

Aweditorium..... Amazing layout of stumbling through songs you've never really heard of, just tap on one of the little thumbnails of the songs and it will play it. I'm finding it hard to find a song i don't like on it as of yet. You can also play it in the background while you open other apps. FREE

Bloons TD...... Is a very addictive tower defense type game, where you're given a go kart like track and balloons travel around it while you pop them with various weapons.

Songpop..... Fun multiplayer music quiz game. Play against another person guessing the songs played for ye as fast as possible. FREE.

Soundprism....... From the app description: (SoundPrism enables you to create beautiful music immediately without any previous knowledge. With its unique visualization of pitches and intuitive controls composing sophisticated melodies, tone and chord patterns becomes child's play.) FREE.

And finally i know it's been mentioned lots already but i feel like it deserves an honorable mention. Plants VS Zombies , got it two days ago and have not been able to put it down since, I'm at work at the moment and i can't wait to get back to it. :D
I didn't think it was my type of game and that's why i held out so long in getting it but since i got it i love it.
Very pricey but worth every cent, no free version.

    Have to recommend Foodspotting.

Foodspotting allows you to actually view user uploaded pictures of dishes in restaurants that are in your current area. You can also take a picture of a meal you are about to eat in a restaurant and upload it to Foodspotting and list it's location, etc. so others can view and rate, etc.

    :)

Google have released an official YouTube app now. I downloaded it last night but have not had a change play around with it yet; apparently it lets you play videos that would normally not be available on a mobile device.

Could he be talking about this?

There appear to be a few game quizzes available for iOS but this one has actual physical buzzers involved.

If anyone is looking for a brilliant browser, look up Mercury. Great browser with themes, Adblock built in. Has a speed dial like chrome, you can import all your bookmarks from Firefox or chrome. Also has a pretty damn good news reader when you slide the screen and gesture controls. Best browser I've seen on a tablet.

FileExplorer is well worth the e2.69 also. The free version only allows you to stream and play mp4 but the full version also all file formats. Set up your shares on your pc/laptop and FileExplorer will find the folders.

Anyone know of an app that allows you to use the ipad as a sheet of paper (like a refil pad in a lecture?) to just write on? Even better an app that allows you to make/draw notes on .pdf, .doc, etc files? Like if a lecturer made half the notes, say the diagrams (unlabelled), available and you wanted to write in the labels or notes?

Something like the Bamboo paper app was what I was thinking of, but I'd prefer to not pay $40-$80 for a fake pen! And ideally an app that you could open a .pdf .doc etc file in and "scribble" on

Not sure if this covers it (as I'm only downloading it now) but Paper by FiftyThree is supposed to be pretty swish.

Also, you can take screenshots of your iPad by holding the power button and pressing the home button. Not quite the same as writing on the document, I know, but perhaps a stop gap solution till you find something that suits.

For writing on PDFs look up Goodreader.

Anyone with a big telly and/or an AVR plus 5.1 surround system might like to get the new and free THX Tune-up app for iOS.

    Found it quite impressive!

Have only done my TV but it found quite a few anomalies, to my surprise. Have yet to to the sound but looking forward to tweaking.
