Not so much an app, but a tip.

    http://banagale.com/view-source-from-safari-on-ipad.htm

Use the instructions on this page to set up a bookmark in Safari that allows you view the page source of any web page.

    Handy for many reasons. :)

How would I go about uploading a photo from my iPad to boards.ie? I don't want it to be an attachment

    Use Photobucket app.

Open Photobucket app then press upload media, choose existing.
Choose which pic u want from your camera roll/ library.
When upload is complete go into 'my albums' and press refresh.
Click on the pic u want and press the ' i ' on the right hand side.
Then press's the 'IMG' link code.
This copies the code and then u just paste in your thread that u are posting.

Official app is crap. it doesn't even remember my position in the app if i close it.

the 'my dublin bus' app is soo much better, doesn't have timetables but mainly use dublin bus apps for real time anyways so it doesn't matter.

It's a lot easier to get an app such as Av player HD or oplayer which play most files and do away with the need to convert files.

    Hi all,
I'm getting an iPad 2 this evening and i'm heading away tomorrow so going to put some movies on it tonight. I've been reading about AV Player HD and it is getting good reviews. How does it work.....install the app and then it's just drag and drop? Can it play all file types? Or would I be better off letting iTunes convert the movies I want?

You need to plug in your ipad to the laptop and then go to apps and scroll down to the bottom and look on the left for av player and then you can add files from there. Thats the easiest way. I use ACEplayer almost as good as AV and you don't have ads in the free version.

I use Zite everyday. I like the look of news360 and Flipboard too but hardly use them.
