If you have no money for mods, you can always nick a turbo out of MM's car at the next meet;)

Indeed! You can take the noisy one :P That is, if it's not fixed by then!

Eh, that would involve touching the car..... You actually dare Alan to touch MM's car? I hear it doesn't rain on MM's car out of pure fear for getting it dirty !!!

Gasket changed alright, haven't driven it enough to know for sure, I had some smell after doing it, but I suspect it was a residue issue. I'll have to get back to ya:pac:

Went for a drive today, and came back to inspect around the engine. No oil smell, no moisture, so maybe it's okay.

Actually, just to say as well, the state of the old gasket was ridiculous.

It was for the most part rock hard, when I was taking the head off it was cracking a splitting everywhere. Had to be extra careful to make sure nothing was left behind.

Glad I did it, 'twas a good experience, might do my waterpump+belts+tensioners next.

No lol. You can only tax it in the month the tax expires or afterwards.
