The McMahon - Punk match was great - must be one of the highest rated segments for a long time.

The best RAW since the 1000th episode but by God it still drags in parts and very hard to sit through for that long.

I wonder if we will see a Triple Threat Match at Hell In A Cell? It would be a bit strange because if Cena is fit then it should be the Cena-Punk showdown. Or maybe they don't know yet if Cena is fit but will by next week?

Yeah I saw that, the camera actually caught it perfectly if you were looking that way. The fan didn't seem too happy, he was standing just to the right of Punk with a pissed off expression for the rest of the segment. The security guy with them was starting to look worried that the fan might go at him again.

There's talk on Twitter that someone pushed Punk first but I don't think it was the guy he hit from what I can see from any videos. Either way you can't just hit fans without repercussions.

Regardless of provocation, I'd be more worried for his unprofessionalism, Punk'd lose his belt over it....This kind of thing doesn't happen with Cena. It was captured on live TV of WWE's flagship show during their strongest quarter...hard to keep it under wraps.

Mike Douglas from NODQ (in attendance) said that the fan slapped Punk in the back beforehand, and security immediately escorted him backstage afterwards.

Even though Punk shouldn't have done what he did, I've never understood why fans seem to want to try and slap or even just touch wrestlers when they're fighting or walking through/close to the audience.

Punk shouldn't have hit him (and it definitely didn't look like the guy was a plant), but fans at shows are f*cking idiots most of the time.

Agreed. This is not going to go down well for Punk at all! Can def see him dropping the belt now and being in the doghouse for a bit! Which is such a shame I was really enjoying his long run, but there was no need for him to do what he did!

People get too touchy feely with wrestlers nowadays. That thing of shoving someone like Punk....you see it constantly nowadays, where older fans want to feel like big men by verbally abusing wrestlers.

I hope Punk doesn't get punished. If anything, I hope they play up the fact he hit the fan. Tell fans "Don't touch bad guys; they will **** you up". Could you imagine someone hitting Shiek or Flair back in their day? Play up Punk's bad-assery. Intergrate it into his character. Make a settlement with the fan, then have Punk smack a plant next week.

Anyway, I don't know why but I mark out for Ryback. I usually hate monster characters but Ryback is being built up well.

What a prick. The guy in the pink ziggler shirt tapped the belt and hey pushed him away, fair enough but you dont need to be so severe about it.
Then he pushed the kid away in the brock lesnar shirt for him just getting too close, no need for it at all. The kid having a large testicular fortitude pushes punk back, punk looks at him and all knowing it was him so then all it takes is for a small tip from the guy who was standing behind him to get decked?
Totally uncalled for.
