Haha i keep thinking of random Father Ted quotes since i named the new dog Ted.

Whenever i walk into the kitchen and he walks around behind me (He is a puppy) i always mutter "Ah Teddy Teddy Teddy Ted Ted, will you have a cup of tea father" he just gives me that sideways confused dog look :p

Oh that's, so funny when a dog does that. My dog has floppy ears, so it add to the whole effect.

Bit of a no-news story for motors, but just got some sad news.

A man I served for 13 years in a restaurant in Louth passed away, from when I was only 15 years old. A wealthy man in his seventies, he got me interested in 7 series, we always chatted away about cars when he sat at the end of the bar with his wife.

I remember he gave me the keys to his E38 back in 2000ish and said go have a sit in it. I was blown away, couldn't believe the luxury back then, a beautiful 735i in silver with 735 in the registration; I was only 16 and always told myself i'd get one. I still remember the smell of the leather and staring in awe at the TV.

Eight years later when I got mine, still working in the same place, i'd park it out the front of the restaurant and he'd talk to me about it every single week. He used to say how stupid he was to sell his own and offered several times half joking to buy it off me. He since had a 735i E65, Range Rover and a 5 series GT.

Gentleman, wife used to say he'd be out in the Landrover with the dog all day long, just driving across the fields. Was sad to see him deteriorate, had throat cancer. It's him you's have to blame for me rabbiting on about E38s. :)

    RIP Michael.

Sorry to hear Voodoo, there is something so nice about a simple friendship with an elderly person, especially one that is outgoing and still has some of their youth in them. Its always harder then to watch them deteriorate in front of you and see that spark leave them slowly. The march of time....

The funny thing was this chap was about 6ft 3" and about 17 stone. I only knew him from his seventies onwards, you would have put him in his fifties, a strapping man! Had the same spot at the bar for twenty odd years, would drink Paddys all night long. Always enjoyed talking about cars to people, I knew what all the customers drove. :D This chap was in every single week.

His son had a DB7, some machine. Now has a Kahn range rover and the other son has an S8. Such a down to earth bunch though, all the northerners have the nice machines outside the door, they're half the price up there.

According to the add it says
CATCH ME IF YOU CAN STICKER IN THE BACK WINDOW

Not too sure if it feels like you're being shouted at or not though
