It's a strange situation alright but no matter what you think it was, just report it and have it "in the system" as it were just to cover yourself.

It's unlikely that someone is taking pics of it in order to steal it but apart from the kit, is the car rare here?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,234 ✭✭✭Ardennes1944

Well I've never seen another 5 door here with the full opc line but a good few 3doors. I'd say my car is pretty rare alright but still nothing special and there's no way of telling it apart from a 1.4 either unless you really know opels

It's a very distinctive motor, the stance, the plates, how clean it is, the wheels etc etc. I wouldn't be remotely concerned by someone taking a picture of it.

Finally got the thermostat on the car replaced, it failed last week, and almost gave me a heart attack with the temperature hovering around 50 on the motorway.

Car feels better to drive :)

Realistically I won't save that much by going diesel, maybe a hundred quid a month.

I'm sure I could find that hundred quid elsewhere...

Ah I know, just trying to keep as much money as I can for the race car. But..........i've left a message for the seller so let's see if he gets back to me. Gonna go and look at it this afternoon if I can, and if it checks out I'll be driving it home.

It's not just for the craic, it was a pic taken while taking part in a burnout competition, which is an annual occurrence at the American car show in Kilbeggan every year.

Burnout competitions would fall under the scope of what I can't see the appeal or interest in :)

Some people just end up with photoshop and go mental thinking it will make their pictures better but it just looks like a unicorn ejaculated on their camera.
