Thats MB downloading not Mb. You're getting 72Mb there.

That has happened me a good few times on Ebay so I only purchase items off power sellers now . I think Ebay really needs to sit down and say no more of this . They should make it a contractual obligation for a seller to sell the item to highest bidder even if they are not happy with the price .

origin oftentimes does max out the connection, their servers are insane. They're seriously trying to get a higher marketshare.

AFAIK, EA outsource their hosting to Akamai (which also host the like of facebook and twitter) so that explains why they have fast speeds :pac

One thing I can't get my head around is why my wireless adapter is getting low speeds off my new router. I can only get between 1-2mbps over wifi however my laptop can get a respectable 66mbps in the same spot in the house. I might try the homeplug option.

On a good side I am finally in my osprey! some mining power in it! Now to upgrade some mining upgrades, science and electronics to have more CPU!

They were most likely trying to get you to steal back from their container so they could shoot you, it;s a common tactic. There's really no way around it if you jetcan mine.

yeah, he figured out i am noob so he just left me be.

me and my buddy joined so casual corp. They buying ore for a very nice price. a lot more then anything in the market. I learned how to do contracts in corp too.
I am full blast training for retriever and covetor. so far i got basic equipment for osprey, 25 mil in account and 10mil worth of ores. so i sgould be able to buy my own retriever by the time training will be finished ( 6 days

) . Looks like our little corp can sell ships for a lot cheaper too.

Just remembered a good tip, make sure your clone is up to date and if you ever get podded (get your pod blown up) make sure to update it immediately.

No, but you'll need to upgrade every time you go over your clone's max and everytime you get podded.

To be honest I'd just get an Omicron grade clone or something. 42 mill SP for 4.7 mill ISK, it's really not that high of an investment(any more).

Yes, but my character is 7 years old and I haven't been podded once(admittedly I play on and off for months at a time).

As long as your reasonably careful you really shouldn't be getting podded, unless you're a hardcore PvPer(and even then if you get podded a lot it probably means you're not very good :P).

4.7 mill is only like 40 mins or so of AFKish mining in the new retriever these days anyhow.

mining with osprey and then picking up can with hoarder is a pain in a hole, while playing borderlands 2 and watching bleach. 3 monitors wtf!

I could never go back to 1 monitor. Multytasking ftw.
I currently have to go to eve every 3 minutes to can ore. When I will get the ship I want I'll be able to leave it mining for good 15 minutes and don't bother with caning ore

Probably ever 5-10 mins actually. You deplete asteroids fairly quickly in a mining barge. Unless you're mining huge Veldspar asteroids or something.

Ah I suppose, I've only ever been podded twice (once by self destruct to quickly travel halfway across the galaxy and once when the celestial I chose at random was behind an accleration gate).

That's unusual, were you actually podded? NPCs will never shoot a pod, or was someone ganking you in a mission or something?

Me and my 2 mates were out blowing people up in low when some thrashers warped in on us. I got scrammed immediately and I tried to warp out when I got in my pod but I selected a celestial which turned out to be behind an acceleration gate

EDIT: At least, I think I was podded in that situation, I may have gotten out with my pod but it's been so long since the incident that I can't remember if I got out or not.

Hey lads, anybody spot any bargains on netbooks? Helped the gf buy something but screwed up by believing the specs Argos listed so looking to make it up by getting her something decent. Only problem is she started college today so need to get sonething by the end of the week.
