I think any current first teamer signed before Gervinho should go to the boss and offer to take a voluntary pay cut until they win something.

What has Theo done to deserve any sort of a pay rise?

According to AFCamden, "he's an Arsenal boy through and through and if he hasn't lived up to the hype, it's the managements fault"

The nextgen series kicks off tonight really excited bout this

It's a pity no one seems to be showing the match. Good piece on the Arsenal website about the game tonight.

We're keen on that Angel Rangel for that position too.,

    That guy's name alone is a put-off.

I dunno do I believe that. That leaves two options

    1. He stays and signs a new contract soon enough. Why not just sign now. IMO its now or be sold

    2. He stays and leaves on a free next year. No one will pay arsenal money for him between now and January when he can talk to other clubs. I cannot see arsenal loosing out on the 10 million or whatever they can get

In reality this should have been sorted as soon as he got back after the summer.

Even footballers themselves talk ****e on it.
Fergie says he tells his players never to talk about united on twitter.
All clubs should do the same.
Look at Joey Barton, he's always on it when he's in the news and talks ****e on it all the time.

Ah as much bull**** as thre is on twitter you can also get a lot of good info and good reads on football and your own club plus its great for keeping up to date on live scores.

You just need to have your bull**** filter set to max when it comes to the transfer window.

    Have we signed everyone yet?

We currently have a squad of 26 players IIRC, we probably need to sell before we can buy, maybe that's why Wenger is talking about having so many players available.

Everytime I see Berbatov mentioned during the transfer window and that I just can't help but think how awesome it would be to get someone like him.

We already have a lazy has-been in Arshavin eating up a good chunk of wage every week. Why would you want another one?

IF the Schweinsteiger rumours were true I'd have to stay in bed for a week cos I wouldn't know what to do with myself with the happiness - he has been my favourite non-Arsenal player for 3/4 seasons. Loved him since Bayern moved him into center midfield from the wing. Amazing player.

Had an argument with a Man Utd fan in a pub one night because we both wanted to hypothetically sign him in a "if you could sign anyone in the world" scenario.

You really don't see a difference between the two of them? The (stupid IMO) way we're playing less than 35 yards from the opponents' goal constantly requires flicks, killer balls etc., not mazy runs into 4 defenders and Berbatov would be perfect for it. Leave him on the D and he'd be our best player.

If Giroud ran a marathon I wouldn't give a shiney shite unless he put the ball in the net at the end. Plenty of players working, tapping it back and forth and looking clueless with little pressure on the ball, whoop de fuckin do.
