    Based on what?
He wants more money, has a year to go, will go on a free next season.
    There's a bit of a trend here.

Based on all the reports saying Theo actually loves it at Arsenal and wants to stay, plus he didnt reject the latest offer there still negotiating a new deal. The club reportedly havent given him 48hrs there meant to sit down again today or tomorrow for another round of talks.

    Who reported all this?

They all love it at Arsenal until money and trophies become an issue.:pac:
They are negotiating £75k a week, Walcott wants close to £100k a week.
He's not worth that at any stage, easy choice IMO.

    Who's your inside man?
Everywhere is reporting Theo has 48hours to accept it.

Do you think he's worth more than £75k a week?
He hasn't really been consistent on the wing or as a striker.
    Only 23 too.

Im not saying hes worth a 100k but as ive read you can blame the rich owners of other clubs in the current market in fairness to him he probably could easily get a 100k a week. Id say an agreement will be reached offer him 85 and see will he take it.

three Arsenal fans said it? Oh well, there you go.
Speaking of John Cross he's getting more biased with every day IMO.

Oh god no, 75 is more than enough for him
But I'd we promise him more game time up top I think he stays
And don't think wenger wants too loose him

Me I'm not too fussed either way

Yes they are three Arsenal fans, but also three Arsenal fans in who generally speak the truth, just because there fans doesnt mean they wont , AFCamden for example was the first to say Van Persie was off to United.

These Fabregas back rumours are really unfair.

Don't any of these journo's have a heart.

He was also one of the first to make up the story that Liverpool paid Real Madrid £5 million for Sahin.

May I suggest Specsavers to get those rolling eyes fixed? :)

Would I be only one round here who wouldn't welcome him back

    I'm bitter I can't help it :)

That may be the problem though.
Gervinho will start on the right, Podolski on left, they are givens.
Can't see Walcott replacing Giroud, where does that leave him?
    Subs bench IMO.

How much did you pay? I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere yet. Also what % of his salary are you paying?

From what ive heard that not a story its true, I work with people non Irish who are die hard Real fans and all reports they read stated the same and trust me they dont read the same things we would read either. Plus I never saw him say that he generally only talks Arsenal.

Look dont believe it if you dont want to that your own perogative, But AFCamden is one of the more trustworthy on twitter he seems to work at the club or have very close links.

And I think that's the big problem more than money

£1.6 million loan fee and 70% of his wages.
It works out it will cost Liverpool approx £5 million for the year.
A lot of money but Liverpool needed him more than Arsenal IMO and had to push the boat out a bit for him.
I have no doubt if it was a straight choice Sahin would have chose Arsenal but some of the stories by Arsenal bloggers were ridiculous.

Do you think Gervinho will start on the right? He was shocking the other day, it didnt seem to suit him playing out there at all.

I know Walcott can be one hell of a frustrating player at times but he still chipped in with his fair amount of goals and assists last year, to loose him would be another blow.

There's none of them that can put in the early first time ball. They all have to take touches before crossing.

At this point, as a fan, not a bloody shareholder I actually don't care how much he is 'worth a week'. We can easily afford to bump up somebody's wages to ensure they stay. We made 20m in transfers last year and are up a couple million this year.

He will, he takes on his men far better than Walcott.
Ok he had a torrid time on the right against Stoke, but Wenger has faith in him, until ACN anyway.
Nearly all of Theos Assists were to RVP anyway, he can't cross the ball well, and with Giroud up top, i don't think he will be missed all that much.
Gervinho could be moved to the left, Cazorla to the right, Podolski moved to a left striker too.
With Diaby , Arteta, Wilshere, Rosicky, Ox making midfield their own.

Ah I know the two of them can be like headless chickens at times, but still to loose one of our top goal scorers and top assisters of last year is a blow no matter what people say and to loose our top three form last year would be shocking.

The problem is if you bump up Walcotts wages then everyone else will expect the same when it comes around to renewing their contracts.

Agreed, at 23 with no real consistency, we would have to pay all our players close to £100k if they felt they were worth it thanks to other Rich teams paying over the odds.
