Walcott is worth 50k a week. That's it. The fact that we are even entertaining 75k for an injury prone impact substitute is just daft!

The problem is if you bump up Walcotts wages then everyone else will expect the same when it comes around to renewing their contracts.

And I suppose the same would happen at Liverpool if Walcott went up there on 100k a week ?

Yes I'd definitely expect it anyway.

Ah I know the two of them can be like headless chickens at times, but still to loose one of our top goal scorers and top assisters of last year is a blow no matter what people say and to loose our top three form last year would be shocking.

Yes it does look bad and suggests that all is not right at the club because it's the same every year now.

Do you think he's worth more than £75k a week?
He hasn't really been consistent on the wing or as a striker.
    Only 23 too.
Me too, the usless git wouldn't get it as handy anywhere else.
50k and a good wake-up kick up the hole.
Oh god no, 75 is more than enough for him
But I'd we promise him more game time up top I think he stays
And don't think wenger wants too loose him

Me I'm not too fussed either way
At this point, as a fan, not a bloody shareholder I actually don't care how much he is 'worth a week'. We can easily afford to bump up somebody's wages to ensure they stay. We made 20m in transfers last year and are up a couple million this year.

We can't Moab about players been on big wages thar they don't deserve
    Then give theo 100 grand

Players want more money, want trophies or both.
There is nothing the boss can do about it, there's plenty the board can do, but we should all be used to it by now, the board won't change.

Arsenal players aren't exactly on big wages compared to our competitors

If Walcott goes, then it's Arsenal 2.0 from here on in.

Arsenal haven't got massive receipts or in debt, compared to our competitors.

    Walcott is ****e.

Fergie/Jose would not have been as patient with Theo as Arsene has and if he wont sign a new deal then he can go suck on a large one.

You just have to look at the fans reaction to see exactly how "highly" the fans rate him.

Good luck pal, You are outta here, you can go infuriate the scousers now please and thank you

It's all falling into place now isn't it, Law in Germany, Martinez completing his move to Bayern, Schweinsteiger not in the Bayern squad for the last game, trust me Bastian's a Gunner!

Anyone know if the next gen will be televised?

If players don't want to be at the club get rid and bring someone in who does. If Walcott goes, we need a replacement but theres no point panic buying at this stage.

Supposedly were after Van der Wiel to cover that spot at RB. Send Jenks out on loan when Sagna comes back and that is a position very well covered.
Still need either an attacking mid/winger in though imo. And a striker. Or maybe a DM :p

Also despite very few reliable sources on twitter i think this pretty much sums twitter up.

We're keen on that Angel Rangel for that position too.,

See Scott paker is up for sale

Now I'm not a mod, but the first person to post saying we should sign him should be banned for a long time :)

QPR or back to West Ham perhaps - perhaps I'll set up an ITK account on Twitter and start tweeting that.

Ya I think if they get the right players in they will do well under AVB. They need another decent striker tho imo.

Yeah, it looks like they're gonna spend the Modric money strengthening the squad straight away.

Crazy concept, eh? Those spurs loons. :D

Meanwhile most Arsenal fans would probably be happy if we invested half of that 40mill we got over the last month back into the squad. I would be pleasantly surprised if we did.

On talkSPORT, when asked about Van der Weil, Dick Law said "I cannot confirm or deny. We never make announcements on transfer issues."

I guess that's one of the right back options we're in for!

M'biwa, Rangel or Ven der Weil? Hmmm, wonder who we'll get.
