I wonder is Walt going to get rid of Mike's body... The last thing he needs is for him to be found gutshot, and the cops knowing that they should be looking elsewhere.

I was thinking that Hank might find the bug in his office, I guess that got wrapped up fairly tidily...

When I was acquiring the episode I foolishly looked at the comments, and someone said "I can't believe Mike dies" Spent the whole episode wondering when it would happen, or if they were just trolling... C*nt.

    Next week will be amazeballs.

I think Jesse and Skylar teaming up is unlikely. She hates him. She probably sees Jesse as the person who got them into this whole mess. As of them sleeping together... :p

I don't think Jesse will find out for a while about Mike's death, if at all. I can see Walt revealing everything to Jesse at a much later episode just before he executes him. As of how it gets that point, who knows.

Frankly I have no idea how it will play out from here. I do know I'm not looking forward to the year long gap and the inevitable cliff hanger at the end of the next episode!

I made the same mistake and had the episode spoiled for me also.

At least ye didn't wait 3 hours 'acquiring' the first episode of this season only for it to be a 2 and a half hour long, quite bizarre, Indian porno flick. Streaming all the way now, first thing Monday morning, sorted!

So you had to sit through 2.5 hours of porn to figure out it wasn't Breaking Bad. You poor thing.

Memo to Our Man In Havana: Next week make the poll public so the people who rated this between Average and Poor (like the 7 so far this week) can be outed for trolling.

Seriously, who thought that was less than Excellent or Good? I'd love to hear the reasoning.

Why do people care so much?
So what if the poll is skewed by people trolling, it's not like we're using the poll for ratings or research...

You deserve to have the episode spoiled if you look in the **Spoilers Within** episode thread. What else would people be discussing in here.

    Indian porn?

I hate this show sometimes in a good way. Another great episode, it's going to be a horrible wait for the final 8 episodes. Still can't believe it's going to be a year until we see them.

On the episode - At the end I don't really care if Walt regretted shooting Mike, he let his ego get the better of him again and at this stage there is absolutely no turning back. Although I think we all knew that when we found out he poised Brock.

Also If you didn't feel for mike when he left his granddaughter you have no heart! :(

So is the next episode the last of this season?

And then is season 6 the final season?

Technically Season 5 is going to be 16 episodes in length but they might as well call the second half of it season 6 due to the massive hiatus.

And yes it is the last season

What did Hank notice when he was looking at the pics of Mike sitting in the park?
He looked visibly shaken when he noticed something before his boss interrupted him through the conference call.

I didn't think it was anything significant about the pictures. Hank was mulling over the whole situation. He has been obsessed with this case. He was puzzled how Mike had nothing in his house and couldn't let it go.

I don't think he noticed anything. It was more to show how Hank is now head of a department and he's supposed to be in this meeting discussing budgets and financing etc but the detective in him just can't stop working on the case. He's becoming obsessed with the case. Like his boss said, there are plenty of other cases he's supposed to be overseeing, but Hank knows he's onto something and needs to figure it out.

Poor Hank, he's such a good detective that he keeps getting given these promotions, when really he just wants to work his cases to the end :(

Yes, Hank is a perfect illustration of the Peter Principle in action!

I'm so sorry to see Mike go out like that. For all the **** the guy has been through and always being the guy who was one step ahead and ready to act when things blew up, getting a bullet like that was quite a sad end. He deserved to go out big and not from a bullet from a scorned lightweight like Walter White.

Walter has crossed the bridge for me. Killing Mike was the last straw. He has pushed himself beyond forgiveness in my eyes. Nobody is safe now. When he's pushed, you just don't know what Walter will do anymore.

I agree that Walt's support network is unraveling. I couldn't believe he had Todd doing the cook with him. I get the impression Walt doesn't think Todd is the brightest spark either but I think we have to get to a stage where Todd is in a strong position to challenge Walter. Todd is the ultimate loose cannon. I'm thinking now that perhaps Season 6 will be one year ahead with Todd now trying to push Walt out of the picture. It's not a good scenario where Todd's involved anyway. I think we were meant to notice the notebood so perhaps, unlike Gale's notebood, this will finally be the notebook taht unravels the whole thing?

I can't tell what is going to happen with Jesse & Skylar. I'd expect he gets her out and helps her disappear but you never know with this show so they might go down the route of sleeping together to get back at Walt. I don't see it as being likely at all but who knows.

Really, while Mike & Jesse were there there was always a comfort blanket type effect. No matter what happened, there was going to be a conference to rationalise everything and create a plan. That's not there anymore. I think the show has gone very dark at this stage. I can't wait to see what's up next week. It's a bit scary now.

Great episode, as far as I can see Walt has become so blinded by his ego that he cant see that he is now truly alone and very vulnerable

I believe when the new cook (who in a previous episode was said to be "connected") learns the recipe then Walt is in big trouble as he will not be needed

Great Episode - I reckon Mike knew it was the end of the road for himself and wanted to die.
And the part in Sauls office was a setup to drag Walt out. Perhaps a security camera will find Walt at Mikes car, and was the reason he didn't want Jesse to get the bag.

I'm not that shocked by Walt killing Mike. The tension between them has been building since the start of this season and there were a few earlier episodes where I thought Walt would kill Mike.

What was the noticeboard in Hank's office about?

Is it the bank that Mike's lawyer/something was going to to put cash in the security boxes?

"Craddock Marine Branch" = Bank branch?

Damn, I should be a cop, like Hank :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,476 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

Yes that is the bank where the safety deposit boxes were.

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

Thats the bank the other lawyer was doing the money drops in. Walt didnt know any details about the 'legacy costs' so the penny didnt drop until he overheard that someone had flipped on Mike

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,416 ✭✭✭Jimmy Iovine

Yea it's the bank that the lawyer used.

2130 Eubank Blvd. NE is also the site of a bank in real life.

what was with all the subliminal image flashes throughout the episode? there's a couple of single frame shots, one right after the opening credits end.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,126 ✭✭✭Psychedelic

I was thinking it could be that bank alright, but I wonder what is the significance of showing us that Walt sees it? Maybe there is nothing more to it than just another piece of info for Walt when he is warning Mike about the cops coming after him.

Probably where the capper did not fully remove the ads from the download.
