Disappointed there's no Heisenberg Hat when he's meeting the drug guy. Other than that, looks awesome

    'You're damn right!'

Kinda naff the way he says that - I guess he's enjoying finally getting the acclaim/notoriety.

Sucks that this is the second last one :(

Think I'll have to start again from season one to get my fix :pac:

I think it is 3am. At least that's when I stop reading this thread until I see it myself.

Guess Mike showed his true colours by legging it on his granddaughter when the chips were down (even though he knew she'd probably be safe with all the police around).

"Fcuk off and let me die in peace" Great last words. Walt and Mike were there by the lake like two auld lads who should be feeding the ducks.

I hope Mike's not gone, but sure who knows with a gut-shot and he can't really go to the hospital.

By the way, showing Todd how to cook must be the most stupid thing Walter has ever done. Especially after mentioning Gale to Jesse.

Pure evil on the "You have no one in your life" pep talk as well. Was nearly expecting when he was talking about "that boy" that something subliminal about Brock would leak out, but that would have been stupid. I'd say Walt was talking about them both though.

was walt regretting shooting mike when he said he could have got the 9 names off lydia?

he probably has to make sure the car/mike are never found because if he is then jesse will find out and snap finally

    use spoiler tags ffs

was walt regretting shooting mike when he said he could have got the 9 names off lydia?

I think it was more a return to bumbling Walt. He didn't care that he'd killed Mike though, it was more that he'd forgotten that there was an easier way to get the info he wanted, and he'd just complicated things.

    Mike :(

Didn't see that coming at all in this episode tbh, would have been a fitting ending to the half season. If Jesse finds out about Mike now he'll go after Walt. Mike really took over the mantle as father figure to Jesse once Heisenberg took over Walt.

It would have been an entertaining episode without being too heavy if it wasn't for the ending, the killing of Mike means that I'm conflicted as to how I feel about it now. What's really left for next week other than Hank finding out or going after Jesse or something like that? Not really how I seen Mike going out, at the hands of Walt either.

Walt was always going to be responsible for Mike's death, either directly or indirectly. I just always he assumed he would poison him and melt him or something. :p

Goodbye Mike. :( You will always be my favourite character in BB.

Also, was I the only one who had a craving for Coca Cola after the intro?

I suppose Mike dying at Walt's hands with a gun is a bit ironic, the feeling of dread is really rising this season I comparison to the others. Previously it has been more hopeful for Jesse and Walt and here it's more a feeling hope is being lost. My heart really dropped when Walt tried to force Jesse to stay on.

All that said, the opening scene was great I thought and really summed up the relationship between the 3 main characters.

I think that Vince Gilligan may be responding to a criticism of the show that I've heard that they don't kill any main characters, though Gus and Mike weren't there from the start I guess either...

Really felt for Mike at the end there, the minute Walt started to press to get the bag I knew what was going to happen. Mike's summing up of the situation was perfect too, Walt could've avoided all of this and made a heap of money.

Jesse better get his due or I can see him helping out Skylar in some way.

I can see Todd getting Walt into trouble with that little notebook of his.

Goodnight, sweet prince. Was one of the best characters on that show.
    mike_jpg_627x325_crop_upscale_q85.jpg

As for Walter, he's become a grade A cùnt. Look into this eyes, just look at the sheer evil hiding behind them :pac::
    Hal-malcolm-in-the-middle-275384_450_600.jpg?1346063743086

Todd is going to fùck him up with that notepad.

I knew when Walt focused on the gun when he collected the bag that it was the end for Mike :(

I actually have no idea where the hell we are heading next week, my guess would be Hank getting a breakthrough cause that's been building during the last 7 episodes.

This season has been action packed!

I wouldn't be surprised if Mike had some sort of plan which would lead the cops to Walt if Walt killed him. Yeah b*tch, revenge!

I've learned not to try and second-guess this show :pac:

Such a crap end for Mike though, he has to leave his granddaughter in the park alone and now she will never see him again and there's no comfort birthday present in waiting either!

Also, when Walt opens the trunk of Mikes car and sees the gun, it was very reminiscent to the opening scene of episode 1.

Shades of Marlo Stanfield in the first scene with Walt.

When it looked like Mike was gone to live in peace I thought "But 'Everybody dies in this'" because of what Walt said when they were watching Scarface.

Another quality episode, really enjoyed the scene at the start. Am I the only one still rooting for Walt??

Was Walt wearing gloves when he opened the boot of Mike's car ?. I saw Hank looking at photos of Mike parking it up (just before the telling off from his boss).
Excellent episode, I did not see Mike dying this soon.

That lawyer was an uncharacteristic loose end from Mike. Quality ep anyway, you can really feel the walls closing in.

Yeah I think you are, Mike was the kind of character that pulled on everyone's strings. The badass old man that had a morally pure motive, to leave some money behind for his family when he can't provide anymore, Walt's motive was the same as Mike's until Walt's got twisted by his greed.
This is the episode where Walt has passed the point of no return and has become the real antagonist of this season.

Walt's gonna have some job chopping up the car for the ole bucket of acid routine. :pac:

My heart sank at the end I was hoping he wouldn't do it, but then he did. :(

Just watched it again, he wasnt wearing any. And watching the scene with hank and the boss, there wasnt any pics of mike parking up the car at the airport, think it was just some other random time.

Walt is pure evil at this point, I'm wondering if it's going the proper Scarface route of, he's an evil bastard but we'll still idolise him, or if he'll be the bad guy we'll want to see get his comeuppance.

Damn this show just gets better with every episode.

Was wondering what they'd do with Mike after he said he was out. Didn't expect them to have him shot though.

I'd try and predict what Jesse's future is but I know I'll be completely wrong so I'm not gonna bother.

Walt is serious shít now. Killed Mike, told Todd how to cook the batch, has gotten involved with some gangsters and Hank and the DEA are closing in him.

Good to see Saul again. Had a good laugh when he opened the drawer and had 10 phones in there. He covers all his bases anyway.

I cannot help wonder if Todd is connected to one of the 9 in lock up. I cannot wait til next week.

Iwonder if jesse and skylar will have another scene together. That one in the carwash was telling.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 22,905 ✭✭✭✭Handsome Bob

I don't think Walt is totally evil yet, he seemed genuinely horrified onve he realised that Lydia would have easily given him the 9 names. The guy is knee deep in **** and even if he wanted to get out, I'm not sure that he could.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,544 ✭✭✭Hogzy

Walt has completely lost it. Its only a matter of time before he slips up and the DEA start to suspect something. Great episode, Really loved mike as a character and im going to miss him.

Iv got a feeling Walts demise will spring from his new distribution partners and Todd in some way.

How long of a wait do we have until season 6 (Part 2)?

I think todd has an uncle in prison probably use him to kill the 9 in lock up.

Hank took money from walt for his therapy could take be used as leverage if hank does figure out walts secret it was drug money.

Up until now I was rooting for Walt. Now I want to see him go down, fast.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,133 ✭✭✭FloatingVoter

I wonder if Todd is Scarface. Watching, waiting and learning until he makes his move. He's a quick study who acts dumb and has clear sociopathic tendencies - sounds like Tony Montana to me.
If I remember the movie right, Al Pacino's first gig when he hit Miami was killing someone in cold blood. Next was learning the trade. And next....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

    Walt is fcuked!

No gloves at any point meaning his finger prints are on the car in the airport, Mike's car, Mike's body, Mike's gun and Mike's bag. Thats a lot to clean up.

I think Jesse might put in an anonymous call to the DEA that leads them to Walt. Dont think he'll take the chance in going to kill him, that doesnt seem like the kind of thing he'd do. Having Walt go down while he skips town would be a nice ending for him. Saying that, he'll probably die :pac:

    RIP Mike :(
