Very heavy precip has just begun. No lightning

Beautiful sun now but the massive line of CBs not a million miles away are very evident.

Have just heard thunder. I'm presuming my cell now just to my east has fired up again.

Lovely definition on your TS on the radar, shame its heading away NE from me!

That next line has some embedded niceties, should be interesting with 45 mins

No visible lightening, but a fair bit of thunder, about half a dozen claps. Must be all cloud to cloud lightening.

Double boom in east meath a few mins ago. Line of black coming at me :-)

Just south of that one that hit Meath a few minutes ago. Heard five definite rumbles and 2 sightings of lightning. Looking forward to that squall line heading towards us (Nrth Kildare). Hope it keeps it's 'sparkiness'.

Also highly surprised as to the lack of lightning from this line of intense showers although there are a lot of whites appearing on radar now and there was a lot of solar heating ahead of it, where I am anyway. 2 connected cells approaching now, one of which will pass just to my north. The other looks like hitting dead on. Hopefully this one will get sparky!

That's a sentence that no one has ever uttered. Ever :pac:

Watch this disintegrate once it reaches South Dublin after passing over the mountains. The weather repellant will be out in force again as usual.

Belfast looks like it's about to get battered.

I agree Hammer. I'm in the city centre now so we may get a bit here. I reckon my home patch in D13 gets a heavy shower with no thunder or lightning. Would love to be proven wrong on this occasion even if I'm not there for it!

That black line delivered some nice loud bangs but didn't see the lightning. Serious heavy pain from it. I could hear the drops falling for around 10s before they hit me!

As usual nothing here in Waterford. Just a shower earlier that dropped 0.6mm. A little breezy but overall a nice day out there.
