Well done! Put it down to experience :)

I once bought an Escrote to do up and sell on.... Bahahahaha such a fool I was! What a ham sandwich of a car, nothing right with it. One owner from new that didn't give a toss about it :(

Hey, at least he pronounces it right! :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,694 ✭✭✭✭L-M

Apparently both are grammatically correct, seeing as we're not French.

    [ruh-nawlt; Fr. ruh-noh]

Same way we don't say Volks yagen!

That would be Reno not Runo!

And the correct (phonetic) pronunciation of VW would be Wolks Vagen. ;)

    *could be talking utter cack.

    Yes...

    Hmmm...

If you say Ruh know and let your tongue curl it sounds right/Frenchie.

Nior bhfuil mo theanganna go maith! Je suis desole!

:D! Unfortunately I've never been to the US but do plan on going there so when that happens I'll let ye know which I prefer!

Btw I've always called Renault Reno, and Volkswagen as BoringWagen :pac: (though Audi taking that crown now as I met a 12 reg the other day and couldn't tell if it was an A4, A6 or A8. All the same now,)
