I've always had issues with YT where when you switch to 1080 it basically doesnt buffer(not a connection thing). F5 normall sorts it though.

Why would 45seconds be a problem?

Lets say I want to skip five minutes in a documentary and then it has to derp around and rebuffer for a century or two. And then if I want to go back to where I was it has to rebuffer again. It just is annoying

Yeah, I suppose. Mine tends to resume playing pretty fast so it never bothered me.

Have you tried clearing cache and cookie, and upping the flash players cache size? Give a look here, helped me with some videos, but if the upload is choppy/sh!te quality.

I had nothing but grief with youtube freezing/stupid green sceens etc. before installing the 12.7 beta drivers.

It depends on your application, Tea. I use my BX5a's at my PC desk and they are great for that, because they are designed for near-field listening
Some nice headphones in this vid...

I use EnhanceMySe7en, you can do a lot more than temperature monitoring with it as well. http://seriousbit.com/tweak_windows_7/

    ^ Obviously that's only for Windows 7

I've recently started using HWiNFO64. Generally speaking, it seems to offer a lot more monitoring statistics than HWMonitor (my previous favourite) and is quick and light as well.

I use HWmonitor, its a great little program.

I seriously doubt core temp had a virus though. Its much more likely that it was a false positive by your AV. use Microsoft Security Essentials, its pretty much the leanest and best AV on the market at the moment, and its free.

its also very important that you don't use more than 1 Anti Virus program.

Lol same thing, ah well..did you go for the Sensei or the Deathadder in the finish Shadow?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,924 ✭✭✭✭ShadowHearth

Good old trusty deathadder. This time I will do it right. Take the mouse which is known to be good, not experimenting and trying out new stuff.

If its not coming tomorrow I will start punching kittens!

Most annoying bit is that it has been marked as being "in Transit" since Friday afternoon - I blame the UK department of DPD!! :D

It just showed that estimate delivery is 10th, still not here. I am on holidays, but I can't even go anywhere tomorrow now as I am waiting on 2 deliveries. They better come in tomorrow!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,979 ✭✭✭Tea_Bag

waiting on 2 items from Amazon. usually they're very good, but they've yet to dispatch, and I ordered on the 8th!!

in other news, postman today dropped off my new motherboard after I had to rma the last, my Asus Xonar D2X I got on adverts for €60, and a memory card for my raspberry pi. happy out, but between work and study I've no time to toy with anything :(

If you want lots of space, I'd be eyeing up the 2TB drive for £13 more.

LC results in less than 2 days, dreading to see how I did, but hopefully I'll get what I need.

To keep it tech related: Anyone know a good place to get decent (Sanyo Eneloops or Duracell) rechargeable batteries?
