Thanks for that link mate. :)

Ya, that exactly it, I learned that there is alot of things to look out for and to be aware of when driving down a street. I sorta knew the roundabout. But its to remember to indicate, check mirrors ect. But you really need to consintrate and remember all these thng. But practise is the only way you acn learn really. :)

All you need know is for you psyhic abilities to come so you can predict what every other flute on the road is about to do.......

    Speaking of fuel,
Is there any discernable difference in quality of petrol between the major companies?
Oh and loving driving a petrol again! :)

Never noticed to be honest, use either Texaco or Topaz most of the time, pushed, I'd prefer Texaco more.

Apparently Tesco are supplied by Topaz
Am abroad with work at the minute and considering hiring a car at the weekend. The drivers here are crazier than in Rome tho!

Why cant you imagine that? They dont drill it, refine it or even transport it afaik. They just buy it off the docks like everyone else.

A few years back in France, the family had a rented car and we were filling up in the shopping center car parks. After a few fills the engine warning light came on, ensure a panic and a trip to the mechanic.
It turns out it was because of the poor quality of fuel from the shopping center pumps.
We were told to stick to the proper willing stations, we did and we had no more issues.

I assumed it would be the same over here.

If you are afraid of petrol costs then don't buy an ST.

That or play this 24/7 in your car :p

No, it pretty clearly states they don't do single wheels as far as I remember. :)

Well that sounds like serious fu)ked fuel for sure, but given the sensitivity of modern engines, if anything like that was on a major national forecourt right now you would have thousands of cars off the road overnight and it would a national sensation. Its not like they are new to this either, Tesco have been selling fuel here for like 6years or more.

A rental car is not a good benchmark of pretty much anything either as its history, servicing and abuse are totally unknown to you. For all you know someone filled it with Vodka before you guys rolled off in it.

This is extremely true, there could have been a liter of diesel in it before we got to it.
In my defence, I was about 12 when this happened and it's just something that's stuck with me ever since.

    Which Tesco's have filling station?
None around my neck of the woods anyway.
