    Texas Power Bar for $219

    http://store.xlathlete.com/Texas-Power-Bar-p/texaspowerbar.htm

That's awesome, even comes with the manufacturer - "The Texas Power Bar with the original Buddy Caps"

AFAIK they just mail Capp's Welding Co and have them drop ship it to you. Most suppliers in the states seem to do it - or so the internets tell me.

I looked into getting bars from the States many many times... ~400-450 dollars shipping not including VAT is standard

For those who missed it: Girl Power - Going for Gold

Yeh I saw this the other night, great documentary!
I really felt for the 28 yo girl who didn't qualify... pretty much sacrificed 10 years of her life for the 2012 games. Zoe Smith showed great character throughout and it was interesting that she was the only girl on one-a-day sessions whereas the others were in the gym for like 6 hours on any given day. Gave a good insight into the struggles of making weight also.

The single most unprofessional exchanges between a CEO of a potentially multi-billion euro brand and an apparent venture capitalist I've ever seen.

The co-majority shareholder in your company looks to sell their shares, which you have no power to stop, so you go onto the internet and start badmouthing the guys looking to buy into your company who you may have no choice but to work with or else let your company rot.

Then the guy looking to buy in copies and pastes content from email between him and the CEO (who is now badmouthing him on an internet forum)... on f***ing FACEBOOK!

Ubelievable. But brilliant. This is either the moment Crossfit starts to become the biggest revolution in the fitness industry since jogging was invented or the moment the whole thing falls apart.

I for one cannot wait to see how this goes.

What happens when you piss in Robb Wolfs Norcal Margarita

"Russ- ohhhh! Scary!! You mean like how HQ has kicked out dozens of other affiliates for speaking out about policy? Go f*ck yourself you shill."

"Russ- if you were in fire I'd not piss on you to put you out."

"Russ- I'm on a flight you sack of ****..."

    On Couch

"That's what being a complete cock-face to people can produce...it's called Karma. When you strut around like some pocket Napoleon and expect there to be no ramifications...Well."

I'll be tuning into to his next podcast if this topic comes up.

It's the exact same as every other HQ spat...

Something happens... CF go on the immediate attack trying to discredit the person... the CF staffers are puppets and do what they're told... the kool aiders play along... the dissenters ask sensible questions... they get attack... that CF legal guy comes in and threatens to fight people... someone on boards picks up on it.

    Standard.

Which is nearly always me but someone has to do it! I was trying not to hate on CF all the time and skipped the last few scandals but with all this current stuff I feel less reserved. So here are some other hate updates of recent months.

CF'ers demeaning homeless people. Homeless people are not elite enough I guess.
    http://blogs.laweekly.com/informer/2012/07/crossfit_homeless_facebook_pictures.php

Also Beast Modal Domains the crossfit satire blog was shutdown around the same time after unnamed members from CF HQ sent multiple anonymous letters to the guys place of employment. Probably Dale Saran. Surprised he didn't challenge to wrestle him instead. Tis a shame as that blog was hilarious. Coffee.

Ah the chief attorney who publicly challenged someone to a proper fight on the internet. Could you imagine an alien looking in on this?!
