Thanks Antares, got a shock with the bill for 130euro considering he asked to keep my car and stated he would supply a replacement car, I didn't specifically look for one. Appreciate your response

Do you have a copy of the Warranty? Probably not, but if you do, see what it says.

Also, did your Insurer / Broker not think to tell you that they'd be charging you 130 quid  for a temporary vehicle ??

I must check the warranty. It was the dealer who rang and done the transfer, first it went in for 2 days where they gave me the replacement car and there was no bill that was about a month ago, then it went in this week for 4 days and I got the bill :(

Here's the best chat-up line you could possibly use on a German woman:

    Ich will dich reiten :)

Mariah - I would have thought that you would swap your own insurance from the Mazda onto the replacement car at no cost to you or the dealer. It looks to me as though the dealer is making a few quid from that when it's not necessary.

After a threatened slow puncture, I actually checked what tyre pressures were right for my car.

    Front 37psi, back 34 psi.

I'm half afraid they are going to explode, but having set them all at that level, the car feels so much better!

I thought that too Metzgermeister I'll be making a few phonecalls this morn! Thanks a mill for your opinion.

Maybe I have this wrong, The bill was from your Insurance company right ?

Or is the dealer trying to charge you for the use of the car?

There's nothing lovely about Cork...... not even the weather.... even when the sun is shining you just have to face the facts and they are that it's still Cork. :D :pac:

My mothers car got new tyres on it 2wks ago. Switched from RFT to regular (and so much nicer now). Tire Puncture warning came on, so checked the pressures all round, as set by garage:

RR 45PSI (or more, guage wouldnt read over 3bar)
    RL 38psi
    FR 35PSI
    FL 34psi

45PSI+ wtf?! The spec pressure for the rears is high (2.7bar) but not stupid high.
