Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looks like two scumbags bit off more than they can chew and got their ass's handed to them.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34,809 ✭✭✭✭smash

I don't understand scumbags. They just keep coming back for more. Why did the guy in blue start following and shouting at the lads after he got a beating?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 23,556 ✭✭✭✭Sir Digby Chicken Caesar

because he was pretty sure the lads were sick of it and weren't going to turn back around

0:20 seconds looks pretty awesome, if I'm honest.

    "Ah HE-yere!"

They probably learned a lot more about how to behave in public in that 20 seconds than they did in all of their juvenile court hearings put together.

is it a bag of chips that 'bluey' was trying to use as a missile but managed to fire them straight into the ground?

The embarrassing thing for me is that I'll be acting as a tour guide in Dublin for some guys from Eastern Europe in a couple of weeks and I know there's no way I can take them around without them seeing zombie junkies and scenes like this. I saw nothing like that when I was in their cities. :(

The story from a friend who was sitting in traffic and saw the build up, goes that the knackers were having words with the guys and then started jabbing them with the tip of the umbrella. Clearly the other two were having none of it and ended it in about 20 seconds flat.

    Quality

  • Registered Users Posts: 121 ✭✭singlesnights

I'd like to have an umbrella like that - it obviously gives you superhero courage and recovery powers.

Seriously? I've lived in Dublin all my life and I rarely see scenes like this... Because I don't go to dodgy parts of the city!

If you're going to be showing people around, then don't bring them to shítholes. It's simple.

It will be hard to explain to them why we are avoiding the city centre.

The sound track could go viral the same way "fenton" did.

Most of the time, video's of violence in Dublin depress the sh*t out of me. In a way this one did too, but I also got great pleasure from it.

It looks like the two who got the hidings deserved what they got tbh...

No need. This stuff is rare, the only difference now is that it's caught on camera and on boards.ie the same day.

Avoiding zombies is obviously a different issue. Doubt you'd want to bring any visitors to see the beauty of abbey street or the quays and around the stations (which in fairness, is usually a well dodgy part in any big city).

The Canal near lesson street, stephens green, grafton street, trinity, o-connell st, parnell square and out to the botanic gardens & glasnevin - that's a lovely route around dublin and you won't encounter anything.

It's fairly easy to avoid the upper end of O'Connell Street, Henry Street & Parnell Square.

Those are the parts of the CC I had in mind, but I don't know if you've been around Dublin recently - the zombie plague has spread well beyond its former borders. And O'Connell St. has been a zoo since God was a lad.

If he'd paid more attention in his physics classes he'd have learned why bread crumbs make poor missiles.

That kick as the little prick tried to get up was a thing of beauty.

More of this please, it's all they understand.

Nearly spit out my coffee. It was...beautiful...

I've watched it about five times now.

    "Ah heeeeeooooor leeeeeeve ihhh ouuuuuuu!"

Also that move by the guy in the white vest at the start (taking out the legs) is pure genius.

Picking a fight even when the other guy is quite clearly twice the size of him in all directions. That's a level of stupidity that only scumbags can attain. I wouldn't be too concerned that the kick did him any damage, there's nothing there to damage.

It's fairly rare tbh. That whole area is a complete scumfest but I used to walk through there a lot on lunch breaks and so forth and never saw any actual hassle apart from the odd couple screaming at eachother in the street.

You'll be fine, unless walking past a single person slouched in a doorway ruins your day.

I'm a native, so I'm used to it. I'm just ashamed that my friends will be seeing it. I saw nothing like that in their cities - and I wandered all over the place.

I love this video, I watched it about twenty times yesterday and about the same since seeing this thread. Saw this on fb yesterday
The scumbag with the umbrella let it smack into one of the foreign lads' faces as he walked by, then chased them down the street when they had the temerity to complain. The scumbags then proceeded to attack them even though they were completely in the wrong and had no chance of winning. Life lessons ha ha...

No one knows how it happened tho so everyone assumes it was the two scumbags but that's no excuse for the two juice heads to hit them on the ground or kicking when they on the deck
Their the scumbags if that's the case

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,674 ✭✭✭Faith+1

I don't condone violence but that was a thing of beauty!

The two guys look like they've done some MMA, good take down at the start, hammer fists at 0.14 and a good solid knee to the face at 0.20.

Maybe these cvnts will think twice next time

Eye witness reports say that the knackers in the tracksuits were completely in the wrong and got what they deserved.

Another person on Youtube commented that they were there and that the scrotes were hassling the other 2 lads for ages until they had had enough.

No excuse to get hit on the deck
If your gonna wreck someone do it while they're standing

    Bollox.
If you randomly attack someone you deserve much worse than what they got in my opinion

**** them, they had enough chances to back off, plus the cheek of them starting trouble in the first place. Got what they deserved imo and I hope they guy in the blue STILL going after them when the video ends got another few slaps for his trouble

Something tells me that scumbaggary™ do not abide by Queensberry Rules so why should anyone else that they decide to have a go at?

Depends what part of Eastern Europe,my mate got his head kicked in for his wallet at the Euros and a bottle over his head.

The Euros would be more along the lines of the Swedish House Mafia concert - an outdoor drink fest. You'd expect more bother at big events like that than you would just walking down the street on a weekday morning.

The rules went out the window as soon as he swung the umbrella.

They had every excuse to. The guy nearly took his mates eye out with the umbrella if you watch the video. Assault with a weapon. If he was getting back up to hit me with an umbrella I would do the exact same thing.

Don't get me wrong, there are scum bags and violence in the majority if cities in Europe it's not just Dublin that is this way.
I have to say you wouldn't see this very often on the streets of Paris or Rome as they are heavily policed and they but a squeeze on the vagrants to stick to the suburbs.
That's the solution really,if we could fence them in and have free zones where they would be immediately hassled if they set foot in them by the police say the entire city centre.

They ****ing love doing it though. If there's no reaction they look like hard men, if there is a reaction there's still no "win" for the big lad.
