I imagine he'll get our max wages but he will get a massive signing on bonus it's a trick Levy has used before to ensure the wage structure is maintained.

That would mean he would cost more than 5 million

Wouldn't be surprised if he got a pay off from city as well.

The 5 million could very well be directly to Ade.

Whatever way you look at it, even if it's double/triple that figure, that is a great piece of business from Levy. He's a phenomenol chairman.

He's alright but he's no Adriano Galliani.

Michael Mancienne is being linked with a return to Wolves. http://www.sundaymercury.net/midlands-sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/wolverhampton-wanderers-news/2012/07/08/wolverhampton-wanderers-ponder-move-for-michael-mancienne-66331-31347572/

I thought he was pretty poor the last time he was with Wolves, did not seem to have the positioning sense to play in either defence or midfield. Have not seen any of his performances in Germany so he might have improved. Would be a decent addition for the Championship, he can't be worse than Roger Johnson.

We need to buy another CB, not sell. They tried to get him in January too but Arnesen rejected their offer and I'm sure it will be the same now. Mancienne is happy and probably wont want to go either.

No still five million to buy the player. Otherwise it would mean there is no such thing as a free transfer.

Cologne tabloid says Chelsea have had a €25 million bid for Schurrle rejected (according to Honigstein).

yep, no way he is worth more than that

Supposedly we've had 25m euros turned down for Schürrle.

Ya I heard espn are reporting he's played his last match for santos.

Strange though at one point he said he would only go where neymar went but now god knows where he'll end up.

I'm sure there will be no shortage of suitors.

He was linked with United last week when that story first came out, he is looking for 150k or so a week, they cant afford that because they are already paying Neymar huge wages which the sponsors contribute too

As much as I would like to think United are in the running it is very very unlikely

I think Inter could move for him, obviously Madrid and Barca should be interested but I don't think either really need him and he does not have a huge amount of pace which is very important to how both teams play, more so Madrid I guess.

Hell Juve are buying everyone! Maybe they will try get him, or Milan

Edit: In the same article he was linked with United he was also linked with Chelsea. I just dont see him ending up in England

I dont think Inter will pay that sort of wages. They have sneijder who plays in the same position and Inter are offloading their high earners to cut down the wage bill.

I think he'll end up in Italy or stay in Brazil if someone is willing to pay him what he wants.

He's done at Santos anyway, Felipe Anderson is wearing his number tonight and just scored a cracker.

That's the thing, if Inter can free up some more wages they will surely be interested, maybe if the manage to offload Sneijder this year.

they have already gotten a sizeable amount of the wage bill down

I have read few Moratti's interviews. Inter are planning to bring wage bill down to comply with FFP and they wont be signing big contracts.

I will be very surprised to see them giving massive contracts to anyone as they have biggest wage bill in Serie A and not even Champions league revenue this year. Also this window we haven't heard any Sneijder rumors so that means probably there are no takers for the fee they want and his wage demands.

I thought Milan were interested and wanted to sign him from 2-3 years.

This is his problem right now, there is no team, who could afford him, who really really needs him, for the close to 50 million euro it would cost to sign him, and the 120-150k weekly wages he would be looking for!

No chance getting him on the cheap as 45% of his fee goes to a third party the club will be under no pressure to sell given the length of his contract. Don't know why someone would say it was his last game for Santos (he is playing right now for instance :))

I still don't really see him go anywhere till after the world cup if Im honest, but Santos will have to get him to sign an extension before then or they will lose him for cheap relatively speaking.

well if he has 3 years left surely they're going to be looking for £20m+ and even that looks low...

surely that wouldn't effect Santos though, surely they're free to sell and whatever they sell for 45% goes to the supermarket?

No he's not. Brazilian media claim he has refused to play and the Santos VP says it is because he is not fit.

His number is being worn by Felipe Anderson.

That's how it effects Santos though

eg, if they sell him for 30million for example, they will only receive just over 15 million of it

but if they wait one or two years that could go fairly down...they only own 55% of the player, that value will start depreciating rapidly soon, 15m odd would be a lot better than 7 or 8 if they wait...that and the wages it would free up.

Of course, they obviously would like him to sign an extension. If he does go their will be a few teams interested so he will not go for very cheap either way

Just checked on the Santos team and doh! Thats the other Henrique playing :o
