I just about get away with a short cage RD on an 11-28 cassette. But it's not perfect, there's a little bit of looseness at small/small and a bit of stretch at big/big.

So more than those combinations just being ill-advised, I really shouldn't use them.

The frame has what you would call "swap outs".
You can chose from and geared drop out (vertical) out or a single speed drop out (horizontal) just by bolting or un bolting on the drop outs you want to use.

Disc brake mounts are on the drop outs, its like this so the rear brake is protected by the frame.

Just bought one of these to try it out as I like my Tune saddle too much and it's been bit of a pita moving the saddle around between the two bikes. 80euro, 110gr, you can't go wrong (unless it doesn't fit my bottom). The graphics are a bit horrible, but I ll sand em them down eventually if it fits me.

So I received the Mega SQ1 yesterday. Slightly overweight at 114g but the finish is perfect, much better than my Tune saddle. It's also much flexier than the komm-vor+ which is flexy enough anyway. I tried it on the race and it was very comfortable but for some reason i kept sliding forward, I need to double check my position as I checked with a spirit level and it was level. Another thing I liked is that the rails are covered with some plastic sheet of some sort giving them a very grippy surface. All in all I am very happy with the purchase, especially considering the price I think it's excellent. One downside, the rails are a bit on the short side.

I know that Fizik do grips which you can put on the saddle, but that will add, like, y'know, weight or something?

It's like clear coating but with a more plastiky feeling, I am sure it adds few grams yeah. I plan to sand it down anyway because I don't really like the graphics on it.

Was passing by cycle superstore so I popped in for a look as I'd never been before....ended up trying this and this on for size and was flattered to find I only take a medium in LOOK clothes....so I had to buy them

Lovely gear - very iconic. I considered getting them at one stage but I think I'd feel like an imposter in them!

I set out last month with the intention to "just" buy a €1,000 bike on the b2w scheme...

...However sense got the better of me so I just poured all of last weeks paycheck into this...

Just back from a brisk 50km spin, now to sell the car (so I can get rid of the blue bottle) as I wont be needing that anymore! :D

(may have gone a tad overboard with the red, black, white coordination though...)

Surely they're under 1270g that fancy wheel stand must weigh at least 5 grams :p

Interested to see how you get on with them look like great value.

Pair of castelli bodypaint 2.0 bib shorts arrived yesterday. As the name suggests they are a snug fit but all seems well in the nether regions. The ribbony straps seem a bit short to me but I'll reserve judgement until I wear them on a spin.

Ok, I get it that's it not about the bike, but seriously, the product description says "these are the fastest shorts"!

Shorts now make you go faster? If the riders can spin as fast as the marketing department they may well be right.

Castelli make great gear alright, but....

This was mostly a bit of an overraction to numbness (and a bit of chafing) on my behalf. I swapped out a saddle that wasn't agreeing with me and that did the trick on the numbness front (and back!). I hadn't bought a new pair of shorts in over a year and I had ridden my existing pairs to near death. I thought I would treat myself to something super comfy, because I'm worth it. I was probably going to spend €90ish anyway so I just went a bit further (I did get 20% off the marked price).

Of course they won't make me faster and they are probably not worth the money but I ride my bike a fair bit and they'll get more use than any piece of clothing I walk around in.

You see, he got dropped on the last climb on Wednesday and is clutching at straws as to the reason why!!!

Not having a go at MWAP, it was the blurb for ther shorts. As to the price, more than I would pay, but then I have started to spend a more on a few quality bit of clothing myself.

Maybe he was dropped on a climb last week, but now he has dimples on his shorts. DIMPLES!!!!!
    Watch him go
